Hero Arts April 2023 My Monthly Hero Kit

Welcome back. It’s release day for the Hero Arts April 2023 My Monthly Hero Kit release. You should have arrived here from Channin’s blog. Our release for April is a fun, eclectic mix of florals and mixed media! This Premium Kit includes a 6″ x 8″ stamp set full of elements to mix and match for creating flower clusters, vases filled with blooms, and interesting patterns – either in the background or right on the flowers and vases themselves! Two red rubber cling stamps add even more pattern options.

There are dies to cut out all of the elements, including the messages. An exclusive washi tape with a handwritten script pattern can be added to your design or on your envelopes, and four Core Ink cubes round out the items also available in the Classic version of this kit. The star of this upgraded Premium Kit are the Fancy Dies to cut out vases, greenery, and blooms. Optiona for die and color combinations are endless! For my card today I used the beautiful stencil included in the premium kit along with ink colors which are also in the premium kit. In the tutorial you will see just how easy it is to create with this stencil to get a beautiful background for your cards.

This is such a happy spring card. And let’s not forget about the enamel stickers included. How fun are those?

Let’ not forget about my bonus card. I love using these transfer sheets from Hero Arts. They take your cardmaking to the next level. Now for this card, I ink blended Hero Arts Arctic, Paradise and Bermuda inks as a base for my transfer sheets. Transfer sheets are the Hero Arts Collage Backgrounds. Look how fantastic this background is and so easy. This transfer sheet looks like it was inspired by New York City street grid.

To add interest to the card, I pulled out my Hero Arts Luggage Fancy Dies to use with my NY inspired card. I mean I love a good trip to the city. That adorable bottom suitcase has beautiful line details from the Hero Arts texture cling stamp included in the kit.

My Monthly Hero March 2023 – Eat Your Fruits and Veggies

Hey everyone. Welcome to the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero for March 2023. We are fruits and veggie inspired this month. You should have arrived here from Channin’s blog. Take a trip to the farmer’s market with our March My Monthly Hero release. We have fruits and veggies galore! Our Classic Kit includes a 6×8 stamp set loaded with various fruits that are fun to color, fruit-themed puns and some everyday messages as well. Use these stamps alone, or pair them with a fabulous fruit-themed 6×6 cling background stamp. For my card today, I used the new Fluttering Butterflies Bold Print along with a Butterfly Hero Transfer with the new Butterfly Fancy Dies. By stamping and heat embossing the bold print onto Hero Arts Black Watercolor paper, I was able to add shimmery watercolors to really make this card pop. The addition of be beautiful butterfly and sentiment make this cards so stunning!

For this card, I pulled the colors from the butterfly to make the background.

For my next card, I used the stamp Fluttering Butterflies Bold Print but this time I stamped it in three shades of brown onto the Colors Of The Earth cardstock. For an extra pop of interest, I used the Nesting Oval Infinity dies to die cut a oval into the patterned cardstock so I could add a sparkly gold frame. By also laying a sentiment from the Empowerment Stamp set and popping that up with a gold sparkly backer, this card is absolutely stunning!

Look how pretty those butterflies are.
