Welcome to the Altenew 11th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 1 + Giveaway! Get ready for some amazing prizes for this hop. I’m honored to be celebrating Altenew’s 11th anniversary. I remember when Altenew first came on the crafty scene. The thrill of seeing there products are the same thrill I feel today for them. Before I get into the giveaways, let take a look at some cards I made.

 

My first card I used the new Magnolia Dreams Embossing Folder and Coloring Stencil. I have to admit, this is one of my favorite embossing folder and stenciling set. It’s just so pretty. For my ink blending I used several shades of blue from the Marine Life fresh dye ink collection as well as Hunter Green from the Green Meadows Fresh Dye ink collection and the Lemonade Stand from the Citrus Punch Fresh Dye ink collection.

The sentiment is from the Stamp and Paint: One Happy Bouquet  Stamp set. Oh and that gorgeous blue cardstsock peeking out from behind is Altenew Starlight cardstock. To fill in the background just a little, I made some small dots using my silver essential permanent marker from Altenew. The finish to this card were the addition of beautiful enamel dots from the Deep Blue Sea enamel dots collection.

My second car is using the beautiful Cascading Elegance stencil. This stencil is so beautiful. I used the Citrus Punch Fresh Dye inks for the ink blending and did a gradating blend with them. The sentiment on this card is from the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Arched Foliage. And the beautiful brown cardstock is Milk Chocolate from Altenew. Again I did a finishing touch by adding enamel dots from the Summer Afternoon collection.

Welcome to the Altenew April Release Blog Hop. I’m so happy you are here with me today. To start from the beginning of the hop click here. The April release is once again full of so many products for your cardmaking needs. Let’s get right into it as I have a lot for you today.

Let’s start with my first card. I used the new Craft Your Life Project Kit: Arched Foliage. This might be one of my favorite kits from Altenew. The kit includes a stamp set, simple coloring stencils (3), a die and an embossing folder. The embossing folder gives such great texture on a card. For my colors today, I used the inks from the Dessert Dreams Fresh Ink Collection.

Card number two is using the new Altenew Luminous Diamond Rings Bold Stencil and the new Shimmer Relief Paste in Sea Beryl, Galactic Skies and Mayan Gold. I mean come on!! How gorgeous is this card. Paring this with a simple sentiment from the Bold Sentiments Stamp set.

Okay, let’s move on to card number three. The Stamp and Paint: One Happy Bouquet is perfect for watercoloring. This stamp set is pretty large. However I trimmed it down to accommodate a large black border. The size is this card is a 5×7. Like I said this stamp is perfect for watercoloring so why not grab the Altenew Palette Perfection Artists’ Watercolor Tube Bundle with the Perfect Petal Palette. And to add some movement in the background, you can use the new Essential Permanent Markers Set.

Hello everyone and welcome to the Altenew March 2025 blog hop and giveaway. I’m so excited to have you here with me today so I can share some wonderful inspiration with you.

For my first card, the Oxeye Daisy stamp set, with its coordinating stencil and die, provides a clear and beautiful focal point. Daisies are classic and universally appealing. Using the layering stencil ensures depth and realism in the flower, making it stand out. Tropical Tango inks add a vibrant and energetic color palette which can bring a cheerful and lively feel to the card. The combination of the Tropical Tango and Whispering Woodland inks with the Chamomile paper embossed with the Royal Brocade embossing folder, creates a nice balance, preventing the card from being too overwhelming.

For my next card I used the Stencil Art: Strong Oak stencil and die. Oak trees are symbolic of strength, resilience, and longevity. This imagery resonates with many people. The strong oak design naturally draws the eye. Using ink groups like Tropical Tango, Whispering Woodland, and Marine Life gives a rich and layered color palette.

Let’s keep going as I have more inspiration for you. This card was made using the new Altenew 3D Mini Double Hearts Wax Seal Stamp. If you have never used wax seals on your cards, make sure to pick up one of these. Also don’t forget to grab your wax beads. I used a mixture of the Frozen Lake and Forest Fern to create my wax seal and wax dots.

To make this card even sweeter, I also used the Altenew Acrylic Markers on this card to add in some line work. These markers are a great addition to my cardmaking.

And last but not least, I have a mini card to share. This card was created using the 3D With Love Wax Seal Stamp. These wax seal stamps make such a great statement on your cards. To really have the wax seal be the star of the card, I suggest to keep the card clean and simple.
