Pink Fresh Studio July 2021 Release

July 26, 2021

Hello everyone. Welcome to the Pink Fresh Studio July 2021 release. I’m happy to be joining these amazing crafters for today’s hop. You should have arrived her from Channin’s blog. I will also link the full list of participants below. Let’s check out the cards I have for you today including a tutorial for one of them.

My first card is featuring the new Painted Peony stamp set with the coordinating Painted Peony Stencil and Painted Peony Die Cut. This image is absolutely gorgeous for A2 and slim line cards. Using a lighter and softer color palette for this card I must say I LOVE how it turned out.

My next card I kept the color palette the same, however I changed up the design of this panel. This card is a standard A2 card which is 4.25 x 5.50 inches.

The last card might just be my favorite. I moved towards an almost fall like feel with this card using more of a saturated color palette. For all the cards, I used the Slimline Diamond Builder stencil as a backdrop for my floral images. Take a moment to watch the tutorial I created for you today. I’ll explain how I created this card and also where I get my color palettes from.

You can watch the video here or over on my Youtube channel. All products have been linked below for your shopping ease. Thank you for using my affiliate links and supporting my tutorials.

I hope you enjoyed your stop by my blog today. Before I forget there is a giveaway.

Pinkfresh Studio August 2020 Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop

August 14, 2020

Hey everyone.  I’m so excited to be participating in the Pink Fresh Studio August 2020 Blog Hop. This hop is full of wonderful inspiration.  Make sure to follow along.

I have three cards for you today featuring new product from this release.  For my first card I’m using the Thankful For Friends stamp set and die. I heat embossed the image in gold rush embossing powder. My color medium today is Daniel Smith watercolor pans. After the image was completed dried I die cut it from the watercolor paper. I backed the watercolor piece with black card stock. Next I inlaid the flower pack in popping it up with extra die cuts.

Now for my sentiment, I first stamped it in pink ink and then again in yellow finishing off with black ink. This allowed my sentiment to have some depth to it. Adding just a few embellishments and this card was complete.

My next card was created with the new Color Black Gradiating Stripes cling stamp.  I love this stamp for the versatility you can achieve with removing a few of the stripes when you stamp.  For this design I pulled out some of my favorite color inks and made stripes in various widths.  Next I stamped out stripes in versa mark so I could heat emboss them in gold embossing powder.

Pink Fresh Studio August 2020 Release Blog HopGiving my card a nice edge I pulled out my stitched rectangle dies. I also ran a piece of grapefruit cad stock through my die cutting machine with a larger stitched rectangle die. Adding a sentiment to the card was a little tricky.  So I decided to stamp and heat emboss it on vellum and wrap it around my striped panel.

These panels were adhered to a card base. Keeping the embellishments simple, I added a few gold flat back gems to the vellum piece.  Pink Fresh Studio August 2020 Release Blog Hop

Pink Fresh Studio is giving away the full release on it’s blog, Instagram feed and YouTube Channel.  Each blog will be giving away a $25 gift card.  That’s a ton of opportunities to win. Winners will be picked from comments left on our blogs. Pink Fresh Studio will announce the winners on their  GIVEAWAY PAGE on August 26, 2020. Please check that page & claim their prize within 2 weeks.

My Sweet Petunia/Pink Fresh Studio Blog Hop

August 7, 2020

Hey everyone.  Today I’m participating in the My Sweet Petunia and Pink Fresh studio blog hop. There are amazingly talented people on this hop full of inspiration.

My cards today feature products from Pink Fresh Studio. Of course I would not have been able to create such beautiful cards without my handy Misti stamping tool. My first card I used the Take Pride stamp set and the Botanical Circle from Pink Fresh Studio. Using my Misti I double stamped the image to achieve a rich black image. Next I pulled out my Copics and colored pencils to fill in my flowers.

My Sweet Petunia Pink Fresh Studio Blog Hop

Once I was complete with the coloring I fussy cut out the image.  I placed the Botanical Circle dies onto a piece of card stock and ran it through my die cutting machine to emboss the image onto to the card stock. Placing my floral image onto with foam dots for added dimension. Adhered this panel to a white card base ad added a few enamel dots using my nuvo drops.

My next card features the gorgeous Scripted Bold Sentiments 1 stamp set from Pink Fresh Studio.  I pulled out my Misti to stamp the large hooray onto black card stock with versa mark ink.  I sprinkled the sentiment with gold embossing powder and heat set it.  Once completely heated, I fussy cut the sentiment out.

My Sweet Petunia Pink Fresh Studio Blog Hop

The background of my card was created using gold striped vellum paper.  I think this makes a striking background for my sentiment. Die cutting the vellum and a black piece of cardstock with a stitched die finishes off the boarder of my panels.  I popped up the sentiment and added a few nuvo drops to pull in the white from the card base.

My Sweet Petunia and Pink Fresh Studio are each giving away a $50 shopping spree.  Make sure to comment along the hop for your chance to win. Winners will be announced on the My Sweet Petunia and Pink Fresh Studio blogs next Friday.  Good luck everyone.

There are times I can't get into my craft room to create and I need my crafty fix. I grab one of my kits and start stitching from anywhere. There are three kit subscriptions you can choice from. I have a link in my bio for a quick Youtube tutorial showing what came in my kit. If you love to cross stitch I highly suggest you sign up for these kits.

Morning everyone. I'm on the @heroarts blog today Morning everyone. I'm on the @heroarts blog today sharing two bookmarks I made using products from the new Mix Media release. These bookmarks were so easy to create and I love the colorful style of them.

I truly hope we are inspiring you with our projects using the items from the release. I remember a time I used to be scared to do mix media. Now it's so easy for me to create without fear. Mix media is just using more than one medium on your projects and I've been doing that forever. LOL

Woo hoo the @ginakdesigns May release is now live. Woo hoo the @ginakdesigns May release is now live. I made a card using the Fearless Flyers stamp set along with pretty colors of Gina K. Designs inks.

This card was so easy to pull together with a quick cloud and grass stencil. For added texture, I used Copic markers to add flicks that look like blades of grass. Definately one you could easily mass produce.

Had a chance to play with products I order from @s Had a chance to play with products I order from @simonsaysstamp a few weeks ago. What better way to enjoy the day with rainbow colors on a card.
Easy ink blending with distress oxides and a little bit of heat embossing did the trick.

The @simonsaysstamp Yay You release is now life. I The @simonsaysstamp Yay You release is now life. I had the chance to play with the new You Did It waver die. This die is the perfect size for an A2 size card panel. With happy rainbow pattern paper I die cut the sentiment for my card. I used the same paper to keep the rainbow theme working on my card.

Having the paper match really gives my card a cohesive look. Adding a small sub-sentiment and a touch of gold finished off my card nicely. This is the perfect die for our upcoming graduates. Head on over to the Simon Says Stamp store to grab this die cut and other items from the release.
