Hey everyone. I’m so super stoked to be part of the Simon Says Stamp DieCEMBER party! DieCEMBER is one of favorite times of the year. If you are new to the Simon Says Stamp DieCEMBER, you have been missing out. Each year during the month of December, Simon Says Stamp does special releases only for beautiful dies.
This year my card is featuring the new Simon Says Stamp Jolly Birdie die! This little guy is perfect for your holiday cards and beyond! He was die cut and then colored with Copic Markers. I then paired him with a beautiful red scalloped rectangle background lightly ink blended with ink around the corners, and perched him on a gold frame. By layering the red rectangle on a gold mat, it really made this jolly birdie stand out.
For the background of the card, I used the Simon Says Stamp Snow Pattern Stencil with Simon Says Stamp White Pigment ink on pale blue scalloped rectangle card base. I really need to make shaped cards more often. They are so much fun to make.
The sentiment is from the Simon Says Stamp Christmas Blessing stamp set which happens to be one of my favorites. For the sentiment color, I used Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Mocha ink. This is such a beautiful brown. For a finishing touch, I added just a few pale blue enamel dots.
Now for a special bonus for Simon Says Stamp customers. Anyone who spends $100 or more on DieCember® release products, will receive our exclusive Fancy Ornaments embossing folder and die set.
