Simon Says Stamp DieCEMBER!!!

December 1, 2024

Hey everyone. I’m so super stoked to be part of the Simon Says Stamp DieCEMBER party! DieCEMBER is one of favorite times of the year. If you are new to the Simon Says Stamp DieCEMBER, you have been missing out. Each year during the month of December, Simon Says Stamp does special releases only for beautiful dies.

This year my card is featuring the new Simon Says Stamp Jolly Birdie die! This little guy is perfect for your holiday cards and beyond! He was die cut and then colored with Copic Markers. I then paired him with a beautiful red scalloped rectangle background lightly ink blended with ink around the corners, and perched him on a gold frame. By layering the red rectangle on a gold mat, it really made this jolly birdie stand out.

For the background of the card, I used the Simon Says Stamp Snow Pattern Stencil with Simon Says Stamp White Pigment ink on pale blue scalloped rectangle card base. I really need to make shaped cards more often. They are so much fun to make.

The sentiment is from the Simon Says Stamp Christmas Blessing stamp set which happens to be one of my favorites. For the sentiment color, I used Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Mocha ink. This is such a beautiful brown. For a finishing touch, I added just a few pale blue enamel dots.

Now for a special bonus for Simon Says Stamp customers. Anyone who spends $100 or more on DieCember® release products, will receive our exclusive Fancy Ornaments embossing folder and die set.  Free gift will be automatically added to their cart once you meet the required dollar amount. It’s a retail value of $24.99!

Now it’s time for me to fill my cart with all my DieCEMBER goodies! I’ve linked all the products I used below for your shopping convenience. Affiliate links are used at no cost to you!

Simon Says Stamp Stamptember Celebration!!!

September 2, 2024

****Make sure to read all the way to the bottom of the post for an announcement****

Hey everyone. I’m so excited to be a part of the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember celebration. This is Simon Says Stamp 15th stamp timber and like always it is amazing. There are so many products in this release that I know you will fall in love with.

For my projects today, I am using the new Big Holiday Words stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. This stamp said has so many great sentiments for your holiday cards and more. Let’s look into what I created today.

I am in need of making some holiday gift tags for the upcoming holiday season and this was the perfect opportunity to use these large sentiments. To start off,  I die cut out several star shapes using my Infinity Star Diecuts from Hero Arts. Since I know I will need different sizes. I used one larger size and one smaller size die. Now it was time to add color.

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Celebration

Using my blending brushes, I lightly blended the largest die cut with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated ink in Sangria using more ink towards one side and fading it out as it went across the star. For my next star, I used Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated ink in Sage and repeated the same blending technique.

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Celebration

Once my ink blending was complete, I can both images through my die cutting machine using the Simon Says Stamp Filament Snowflakes Embossing Folder. To create a really cool look, I only embossed half of the star. This really can make the difference when you are creating. After the embossing was complete. I stamped a sentiment from the Big Holiday Wishes on each of the stars using black ink.

Next, I used a small hole punch to add an opening for my gold thread. And to finish off the card, I add a few gold star embellishments.

I absolutely LOVE how these tags came out and will definitely be creating more. If you would like to get more inspiration using Simon Says Stamp products, click here.

Simon Says Stamp Sunny Vibes Release

June 20, 2024

Hello everyone. Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Sunny Vibes Release. This release is awesome so make sure to grab your goodies before they sell out.

I had the chance to design with the CZ Bad Day, Good Vibes. This stamp set has a great variety of sentiments and sub-sentiments. Let’s take a look at my card.

I started off my card by first picking my color palette. Wanting to happy and cheerful card, I used Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Inks Punch, Grapefruit, Sunbeam and Seafoam. These color together look so pretty. By alternating the color placement, I created a full on sentiment card. Next I stamped one of the sub-sentiments in the middle of the card panel in Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink. Continuing with the black ink, I stamped a few hearts to fill in some of the white space.

One all the stamping was complete, I used a light gray Copic Marker (T1) to make a should around the letters. By using this little trick it makes the letters a little bit of dimension. To finish off the card, I adhered the panel to a white A2 card base.

Hurry up and grab your goodies from the Simon Says Stamp Sunny Vibes release. Want to see more cards using products from Simon Says Stamp. Click here and be inspired. Thanks for stopping by today. I’ll see you all again soon.
