Welcome to the blog everyone. Today I am participating in the Simon Stamp Season Of Wonder release. I’m super excited to share this card with you today. Scene cards are really difficult for me to create, however with a little masking I was successful.
I started off my stamping the little girl with her stack of presents on the left side of the card. Next, I stamped the bundle of presents to the right of my panel. Now it was time to mask off these areas. Pulling out my masking sheets, I stamped and fussy cut out the girl and the bundle of presents. Using the masks, I covered up these two areas and then stamped my tree. Once the masking paper was removed, it was time to color.
The Copic markers are I used today are the following:
E11, E 13, E15, E39, E50
R46, R59, R81, R83, RV34
BG13, BG49
YG23, YG67, YG99
Y26, Y28
W4, W6, W7
Now that coloring was complete, I hand drew in the floor for my images and colored with Copic markers. For a little bit of texture, I pulled out a light beige Copic marker to make faux wallpaper. To top off my tree I stamped the star, colored it in with my Copic markers and fussy cut it. I use double sided foam to adhere it to the top of the tree. And lastly, I stand the large Christmas sentiment at the top of the card, and also stamped a sub sentiment which I fussy cut out.
I hope you enjoy this card as much as I do! Here’s to starting off those holiday cards for this year. It’s time now to fill up your cart with products from the Simon Says Stamp Season of Wonder release. Thanks for stopping by today and I’ll see you back here soon.
