Hey everyone. Looking for an adorable Easter felt project? Well look no more. The Spellbinders Felt Carrot Companion die set is perfect. This set comes with a cute little bunny and a fun mini carrot. You can dress up this bunny in different bows by the choice of the felt you use.
Event though I used this funny on a card, you can totally turn this in to home decor by stitching a few of these and then stringing them together. It would be the perfect way to add some Easter decor to your home this year. I started stitching the bunny first. This bunny has several more pieces than the carrot did so. I began to work on that first. I chose to stitch a salmon-pink color for my bunny and accented him with a teal bow and heart. The carro was made from a nicely deep orange brown felt and muted green felt for the topper.
For the background, I used the Spellbinders Columns Embossing Folder. I wanted the background to have a little texture and not be flat white. Then I backed the white cardstock piece with a salmon pink cardstock. This cardstock was in my scrapes so I’m not sure of the name or brand. To keep the bunny and carrot on my card, I used a strong double sided tape like Spellbinders 1/4″ white liner tape.
