Poshta Design Holiday 2022 Release Reveal

September 30, 2022

Welcome back everyone. Today is reveal day for the Poshta Design Holiday 2022 Release. I’m thrilled to be stitching with the All Bundled Up Kit. When the weather outside gets frightful, it’s time to start creating something delightful! This year’s stitching kit features a toasty warm stocking cap and oodles of design elements to personalize it. Classic cable knit? Chic Nordic snowflakes? A customizable label? That’s just scratching the surface. You’ll have so many options that no two caps will look the same! From 100% wool felt to a carefully curated collection of beads and sequins, everything* you need to make beautiful ornaments arrives right to your door in one convenient package. The hardest part is choosing your favorite Color Story!

This kit even includes needles, cord for hanging, and a zippered project bag so you can keep your works-in-progress safe and tidy. You’ll be stitching up cozy holiday creations in no time!

Kit Contents Include:

  • 27-piece die set

  • zippered project bag

  • 2 all-purpose needles

  • handy needle storage tube

  • printed 3-page Inspiration Guide for easy reference

  • exclusive access to an intensive instruction video (access will be included inside your kit bag)

  • 5 yards of white crochet thread

  • 5 rolls of 5″ x 36″ felt

  • 5 skeins of embroidery floss

  • 5 colors of sequins (in two sizes)

  • 5 colors of seed beads

  • compartmented bead storage container

*die cut machine and stuffing not included in the kit*

Retails for $150.

I also made some projects using the new All Bundled Up Mitten Die, the All Bundled Up Stocking Die and the Simple Scalloped Circle Ornament Die. Let’s take look at what I created.

My first project is using the All Bundled Up Kit. This kit was so much fun to play with. I love being able to customize my ornaments using the felt, dies, floss and seed beads. Each time you make an ornament, you are creating from the heart in a style that’s all your own.

My next project is using the All Bundled Up Stocking Die. What’s so great about these All Bundled Up dies, you can mix and match them with each other. Instead of making my stocking an ornament, I turned it into a gift card holder. Using three of the colors from the Ski Lodge Color Story really allowed me to have fun with this stocking.

Poshta Design

For my last projects, I pulled out all the stops. I turned the All Bundled Up Mitten and the Simple Scalloped Circle Ornament into holiday coasters. These coasters are just too cute and were SUPER easy to make. Thinking of gift giving these coasters, it was best to keep to a simple color palette for the coasters so they could match.

Now it’s your chance to grab these kits. They are going live in the Poshta Design shop on Saturday October 1st 12:00PM EST. Also don’t forget you can grab yourself any one of the Color Stories to really get creative.

Poshta Design Sneak Peek

September 27, 2022

Hey everyone. Today I’m sharing a sneak peek of new products from Poshta Design. Here felt kits are one of my favorites and I can’t wait for you to see them all.

Today I’m sharing the soon to be released Pocket Tag Die. This versatile tag die can be simple or spectacular (but always chic) depending on your mood! Incorporate the scalloped pocket for the perfect gift card accessory or keep things simple with a flat design featuring an embroidered message. Ideal for use with both cardstock and felt, these tags are sure to be a hit with everyone around your tree! The Pocket Tag Die includes an Inspiration Guide for handy reference and will retail for $25.

The color story I used for my project was from the Ski Lodge Color Story. Imagine yourself crafting in a chic chateau, surrounded by crisp Alpine air, sipping a hot toddy, and gazing over beautiful rocky terrain covered in a blanket of glistening snow. How’s that for inspiration?! This Color Story includes Sea Spray, Cardinal, Pistachio, Pine Forest, and Overcast felt. This color story retails for $53

Poshta Design

Can’t wait to share more with you on Friday. There are several kits that you can mix and match as well as several color stories to pick from. I really think you are going to fall in love with everything. The entire release goes live on Saturday October 1st at 12:00PM EST.

Poshta Design Spring Release

March 11, 2022

Hey everyone. I’m so happy to share I had the pleasure of working with the new Poshta Design March 2022 release. The color palette for my cards are from the Egg Hunt color story. It’s ohhh so pretty and bright. Let me tell you a little bit of information on the release.

Cheerfully decorated eggs are an essential part of any Easter celebration. The Egg Details Collection offers a variety of styles to make your Easter decor extra charming. Choose from stripes, polka dots, embroidery, filigree layers, and even a scalloped window to showcase monograms or patterned fabric. The dies are all sold individually, giving you the flexibility to add to your personal collection as you wish. Decorate your home with playful garlands and ornaments or make thoughtful cards and custom tags for your loved ones’ Easter baskets using this sweet die series. The release will be available Saturday March 12, 2022 at 12:00 PM EST.

The basic egg die comes with an inspiration guide to assist you in using the companion dies. Here is the breakdown of each die:

Basic Egg Die $12

Egg Window Die $15

Embroidered Egg Details Die $15

Filigree Details Die $32

Polka Dot Details Die $15

Stripe Details Die $20

Color Stories $50 each

New Felt Colors $6 each (sold individually)

The first card I have for you today features the basic eye die along with the stripes detail dies. When I say stitching this card was so easy, a kid can really do it. These dies are easy to line up and having the choice a choice to add different color stitching brings the egg to life.

Remember, these dies can be used to make Easter egg ornaments or like I have done, I’ve used them on Easter cards.

I pulled paper from my stash that matched the Egg Hunt Color Story felt to a tee! I really love how this card came out.

My second card makes my heart so very happy. This egg was made using the basic egg die with the Filigree Egg Details dies. Oh my word, these dies are stunning.

The colors of felt for the Egg Hunt color story are Clementine, Soft Jade, Poolside, Cheeky and Daffodil. The bead kit includes iridescent clementine, jade green satin, iridescent pink, yellow satin and iridescent aqua sequins. What I love about the bead kit, you have plenty of sequins you can use on other crafting projects.

Contrasting the thread really brings the design of this card up a notch. Placing the egg on plaid rainbow paper with a simple sentiment keeps my card stunningly beautiful.

I highly suggest that if you see a color story you really love, grab it! Also make sure you grab the detail add-on dies with your basic egg die to make glorious eggs for easter. I could totally see these eggs becoming garland around a mantel or hanging from a hook in a kids room.

There will be a giveaway during the hop so make sure to visit Poshta Design IG page for all the details. Thanks for stopping by today.

Heart Turnabout Background: Valentine’s Day Card Series Day 3

January 19, 2022

Hey everyone. Welcome back to day 3 of the Valentine’s Day Card Series. The color palette for today is very retro and I love it. This has been one of my favorite color palettes for a while now and I even want to use it in my house now. LOL We are working with the Heart Turnabout stamp from Concord & 9th today along with a quick and easy sentiment. If you missed the start of the card series, you can visit day one here. Let’s get into the card.

Like I mentioned we are using the Heart Turnabout stamp to make a pretty background. The ink colors today are from Concord & 9th and they are Aqua Sky, Marmalade, Stardust and Wheat. This color palette will work for masculine or feminine cards.

Adding a little bit of dimension on the card by die cutting out the center with the Hero Arts Infinity Hearts dies gives the card a pretty eclipse look.

You can watch the tutorial here or over on my Youtube channel mzdanajoy. Affiliate links have been used at no cost to you.

Like I promised, here is a bonus card I made using the watercolor background. The panel was created using the same colors but instead of inks, I used liquid watercolors in the same colors from Concord and 9th. For this card I used the Waffle Flower Stitchable Pinking Heart die for my focal point. Stitching has become another hobby I’m really embracing. The pattern for this design was easy to create by just shifting the colors in the design.

DMC floss was my go to thread for the stitched heart. Here are a few color combos in the same palette you can use for stitching.

DMC726, DMC741, DMC779, DMC3761
or
DMC744, DMC3854, DMC3862, DMC747

I decided not to place a sentiment on this card and just let the beautiful stitching shine through.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed your visit. I’ll see you back here tomorrow for more Valentine’s Day card inspiration.

Morning everyone. It's another day for valentine c Morning everyone. It's another day for valentine cards. In today's tutorial I made a trio of valentine cards from one background. This was so easy and so much fun to make. Where are my Distress Oxide Spray lovers?

With three colors of @tim_holtz Distress Oxide Sprays these cards were created. I don't have all the sprays and are "collecting" them little by little. The fear of using these sprays have been unleashed. 😂😂😂 After watching more and more videos from Tim, my nervousness of "messing it up" has been replaced by "oh that's so pretty".

By using just two die cuts from products from the January 2023 release from @heroarts

The link for the tutorial is in the bio and I hope I inspire you to start creating your Valentine's Day Cards.
