Hero Studio products are also available for purchase without a subscription at full price, while supplies last. Once they sell out, they are gone for good!

Let’s start with my first card. For this card I used the new 6×6 City Stencil from this month’s kit. What I love about this stencil, is that three stencils are incorporated into one stencil space. This allows you to use one stencil, two stencils or three stencils on one piece of cardstock. You will see what I mean in the tutorial I have for you today.

By using the Hero Arts Reactive inks in Fruit Punch, Lemon Drop and Splash, I was able to create this rainbow city skyline by only blending three shades of ink. For the darker ink on the bottom, I combined two shades of gray Granite and Charcoal to create a moody city skyline.

Let me show you in the tutorial exactly how to do this.  You can watch the tutorial here or over on my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.

Now for my next card I immediately feel in love. Working with the new Decorative Tile Pattern Stencil (only available from retailers and online shop) on color cardstock really make this stencil come to life. By using Hero Arts Peony cardstock I blended Hero Arts Taffy and Berry Smoothie reactive inks through the stencil. For added interested, I had certain areas overlap with the two colors.

Without removing the stencil, I wiped down the stencil to remove any color sitting on top. Next I pulled out my Hero Arts Glitter Paste and smooth this over the stencil. This gave the color a more muted look with tons of sparkle. Now it was time for a large sentiment. I die cut the word friend from the Hero Arts Smile Friend Stamp and Cut XL onto Hero Arts Basic Glitter Paper.

To make the sentiment stand out, I blended a second friend die cut with the Berry Smoothie ink to add behind the glitter one to create a shadow. For a sub-sentiment, I used the hello sentiment from the Message Basic stamp set. By blending just a bit of Berry Smoothie Ink onto Hero Arts Dove White Cardstock, I had a pretty place to stamp my sub-sentiment. I stamped the hello in Hero Arts Unicorn White ink.

To finish off the card, I place a strip of white glitter paper behind the sides of the peony piece. Next I adhered it to a side folded card. I adhered the friend and hello sentiments on the card and added just a few pearls to the center of a few tiles.

Here is the list of blog participants. I hope you enjoy this new Hero Arts June Hero Studio Card Kit. Make sure to join in on the hop and leave comments along the way. I’ll see you back here soon.

• Cover Plate Window Die

For my card today I used soft colors of warm grays, light blues and a hint of yellow to create my card. Since this is a layering stamp, it was super easy to create this card. I have a tutorial show you exactly how this card came together.

You can watch the tutorial here or over on my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.

Each month we also make a card using add-ons from this month’s release. This card was created using the new Crane Wishes stamp set and the Cherry Blossom Cover plate! To tweak using the die as it was intended, my Better Press machine came in handy to imprint the image into my card panel. Once I had the impression made, it was time to color up the crane and a few flowers to add to this panel.

The simplicity of this card is what I love most about this card. Along with keeping the color palette in warm grays and just a pop of red from my Hero Arts enamel dots, this card really took no time to create. Want them all? Click here to get all the add-ons for this month.https://heroarts.com/collections/2024-march

We will give away a $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, March 10th at 11:59pm PT, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week. Next on the hop is Michelle. Have a wonderful day everyone! Again thank’s for joining us for the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero March 2024 Kits release.

Hero Arts My Monthly Hero February 2024

February 5, 2024

Hey everyone. Welcome to the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero release for February 2024. You should have arrived here from Rosie’s blog. Today I’m using the premium kit for my car today and this card that took me less than 10 minutes to meet. Now, with the premium kit you’re going to get everything from the classic with some extras. The extras help you to expand your creativity every single month. Let me share with you what is in the premium kit this month.

The Premium Kit includes additional elements to extend the potential for more cards and projects – even more Creativity in the Box! In addition to all the Classic Kit components, the highlight of our Premium kit includes a Radiant Sun Stencil and a whopping 48 pieces of ephemera, featuring colorful flowers, hearts, butterflies, and words. Also included is a 3″ x 4″ clear stamp filled with positive messages, word fancy dies, and embossing powder.

Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Premium Kit

Premium Kit Contents: (Premium Elements in Bold)
• Clear Stamp Set, 6″ x 8″
• Clear Stamp Set, 3″ x 4″ • 17 Coordinating Dies
• 4 Tag Fancy Dies
• Imagine & Peace Fancy Dies
• Sun Stencil, 6″ x 6″
• 6 Sheets Premium White Cardstock, 5.5″ x 8.5″
• Unicorn Pigment Ink Cube
• Rustic Twine, 3 yards
• Ephemera Pack, 48 pieces
• White Embossing Powder, 0.5 oz.

KIT VALUE: Premium Kit: $113 Value for $49.99

Let’s get into the cards I made for today. For my first card I have a tutorial using products from the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Premium Kit! Using the ephemera from this kit made it super easy for me to create this card. By keeping the background super soft, the butterflies and sentiment take all the attention.  Love this card.

By adding in just a little bit of green splatter to the card, it pulls the green down and makes it all work so well together.

Here is the tutorial for this month’s card. You can watch it here on the blog or over on my Youtube channel @danajoy.

For my bonus card, I used the Words Of Peace Bold Print. This is by far my most special card I have made. Starting off with the beautiful Hero Arts Two-Tone Metallic Sprays on Dove White Cardstock really makes this card colorful. Next by stamping the bold print in Words Of Peace in embossing and watermark ink and heat setting with gold embossing powder we create a wow factor.

Hero Arts MMH February 2024 Countdown

For an unexpected element, I created a hole in the center of the card and folded back the piece to look like a sun burst. Next I grabbed a white card base and centered the colorful panel on top. By doing this, I was able to create a spot to put a peace sentiment in the middle. For just a touch a glam, I added a few sparkle and gold matte gems to the card.

All products I used are listed below for your shopping convenience. Affiliate links have been used at no cost to you. Before I go, let’s chat about giveaways. We will give away a $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, February 11th at 11:59pm PT, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.

Next on the hop is Kailash. I hope you have all have a wonderful day.
