Altenew Craft Your Life Project Kit: Garden Rose Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Just add ink and cardstock, and you’ll be good to go! This kit features a stamp including two beautifully drawn roses with three layers each and four leaf outlines. Leave these unfilled, or add color with the stencil set! One stencil acts as a coloring/mask stencil, one includes bold stripes, and the third contains three words that go with the sentiments in the stamp set. Finally, add texture with the 3D embossing folder for a stunning project!

For my card today I made a quick tutorial sharing how I pulled this card together. I love that this kit had a stencil with a design and sentiments. It really helped to make my card super easy to create and I can even mass produce this one quickly.

You’ll see in the video that I made several roses and leaves in another color that I can keep for a future card.

The stripes of the stencil really help to make this design pop! And guess what? No coloring involved.

Hero Arts Mushroom and Ferns Fancy Dies

Hello everyone. Welcome back to the blog. Today I’m playing with the Hero Arts Mushroom and Ferns Fancy Dies. Now I must mention up-front that this stamp set is currently sold out. Let’s get into the card.

This card was so easy to create, as I used the die cut piece of paper I used to cut out the die as a stencil. First, I laid down a layer of Field Green in three quarters of the way on the bottom portion of the card. Next, I used the paper stencil to stencil on random images of the fern in Hero Arts Forever Green ink. I loved this technique as it was so easy and make a striking background.

Next, I die cut the ferns out several times from Hero Arts Dove White cardstock and adhered them together using Hero Arts Precision Glue XL. This gave my die cut some weight.

Now it was time to put this card together. I adhered the stenciled panel to a piece of Hero Arts Palm cardstock. Stamping a simple sentiment from the Hero Arts Magical Forest stamp set in Forever Green right above the stenciled area. All that was left was to add the stacked ferns.

Such a simple yet beautiful card. I would love to see how many color combinations you can come up with using this technique and the Hero Arts Mushroom and Ferns Fancy dies. I’ve linked all the products below for your shopping ease. Have a great day everyone.

I made two cards for your dose of inspiration today. The first one I think is my favorite. I love the bright flowers against this black background. It truly makes the flowers pop! The stencils makes coloring the image so easy. The card panel started out white. I used a black Copic marker to fill in around the image to make the drastic change in color.

Altenew Craft Your Life Kit - July 2021

For this card, I used the embossing folder in the kit. I ran the embossing folder through my die cutting machine. Next I pulled out some chalks I had to add the color. Lastly I fussy cut around the image, and popped it up on a onto a kraft card base. All that was left was a simple sentiment and some nuvo drops in white and this card was complete.

I really love everything in this kit. I really does make card making easy. Next on the hop is Virginia. I’ve also included the entire list of participants just in case you need to find your way through the hop. Oh let’s not forget the giveaway.

I have a few cards for you today. My first card is featuring the Flower Bunch Simple Layering Stencil. Oh my this stencil is sooo pretty. This stencil allowed me to make a beautiful card with little effort. The ink colors I used for this card were Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen, Pink Diamond, Coral Berry, Grapevine, Pumpkin Pie, Sicilian Amber, Lawn Rock and Jet Black. All these colors work nicely together.

A simple Just for You sentiment and a few sequins completed his beautiful card.

My next two cards are featuring the Mandala Builder Stencil. Again this is a beautiful stencil to add loads and loads of color to your card. My first card features a clean and simple light color palette. The colors for this card were Forest Glades, Pink Diamond and Evergreen.

And my last card I kept the colors similar however I added in some soft yellow and lightened up the green. Each card I added one layer of glitz glitter gel for dimension. Colors used on this card were Forest Glades, Pink Diamond and Maple Yellow.

Valentine’s Day Card Series 2021 Day 3

Hey everyone. The Valentine’s Day Card Series 2021 Day 3 is here. And if you love sparkly lips, you are in the right place. I love a great stencil and I love a sparkly lip. The Simon Says Stamp Hot Lips stencil makes my dreams come true.
