Hey everyone. It’s the Simon Says Stamp Love You Release. The cards I’m sharing today feature products from the release. I’m thrilled by my cards this month as the products so fit me.
My first card I used the With All My Love die cut. This is such a pretty font for such a beautiful die. I paired it with the Splendid Leaves Circle Frame Embossing Folder. Having such a pretty embossing folder there is no need to add much to your card panel.
I ran the embossing fold through my die cutting machine with vellum and gold card stock. Layering the vellum on top of the gold card stock really made the details of the folder come through perfectly. And it muted the gold card stock so the shine wasn’t overwhelming.
I added just a touch of shimmer pen to the letters and covered the sentiment die with glossy accents.
My next card features the stunning Boho Circle stencil and the Love Greetings Mix stamp set. I used Concord and 9th inks for this card and Gina K Designs Glitz Glitter Gel. The inks I started with were Ballet Slipper, Honeysuckle and Cranberry. The glitz glitter gel totally transformed the ink into a softer color palette. LOVE LOVE LOVE how that turned out. I truly can’t believe the color shift of the inks.
Once the background dried, I trimmed the panel down. Stamping out just a simple sentiment from the Love Greeting Mix stamp set in Sorbet ink also from Concord & 9th my card was coming together quickly. I layered my stenciled piece onto Sorbet card stock and adhered everything to a white card base. For added dimension, I popped up the sentiment with foam dots.
Love vibes and all the feels with this release. I can’t wait to be inspired by what the other designers have made with the Simon Says Stamp Love You release. If you would like to do a little shopping, products are linked below for your shopping pleasure at no cost to you. See you guys back here soon.
