I made two cards for your dose of inspiration today. The first one I think is my favorite. I love the bright flowers against this black background. It truly makes the flowers pop! The stencils makes coloring the image so easy. The card panel started out white. I used a black Copic marker to fill in around the image to make the drastic change in color.
For this card, I used the embossing folder in the kit. I ran the embossing folder through my die cutting machine. Next I pulled out some chalks I had to add the color. Lastly I fussy cut around the image, and popped it up on a onto a kraft card base. All that was left was a simple sentiment and some nuvo drops in white and this card was complete.
I really love everything in this kit. I really does make card making easy. Next on the hop is Virginia. I’ve also included the entire list of participants just in case you need to find your way through the hop. Oh let’s not forget the giveaway.

Wow, your first card took my breath away. It is gorgeous! I have a forum friend who likes your second card best, which I hadn’t seen at the time. When I saw it, before coming to your blog, I told my friend that it looked like you used craft chalks to color it. Very happy that I nailed it, and that you’ve inspired me to pull those chalks out again. I haven’t used them in years! Very lovely cards – can’t wait until the kit is restocked.
