Hero Arts September 2023 MMH CLASSIC Release

Welcome to the Hero Arts September 2023 MMH CLASSIC Release. You should have arrived here from Channin’s blog. For my card today I used all the inks included in the kit! This is such a pretty fall color palette. And if you have been to my blog before, you know I love me a good color palette. Even though the fall season is here in the US, we are still burning up here in Florida. So I can only get my fall vibes off of a card right now. LOL

To add just a punch of color, I pulled in some beautiful teal blue paper. The Hero Arts Adriatic paper was the perfect color.

The muted hue of this paper works well with deep reds, yellows and browns. Give it a try with your fall cards.

That’s a win when you need quick cards. To keep with the fall theme, I pulled in shades of orange, yellow and a hint of light brown.

The beautiful background was created using the new Leaves and Swirls stencil.

Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Countdown

The Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Countdown has begun. We can’t wait to share this release with you. We are heading into fall and the temps are getting cooler. It was the perfect time to make a card with a monochromatic blue palette.

Shades of blue on a card feel so calming to me. I have several shades of blue n my home and I feel it makes it feel cozy and inviting.

Mixing blue shades on your card or in your home will make you feel at peace. Well I guess in my case it does.

Stay Golden Layering Stencil

Hey everyone. Hope you are having a great day. Today I have a card using the Stay Golden Color Layering Stencil from the Hero Arts August 2023 release. This card really does have my heart. Using a stamp and coordinating stencil makes a great card. However, when you only use the stencil, the card becomes super soft and pretty.

The Stay Golden layering stencil really makes it easy to bring your flowers to life. The colors on this card work perfectly for layering the colors. Using light and dark variation of pinks and greens allow me to really build up the layers and gives me a beautiful result.

By letting the gorgeous colorful flowers be the star, a quick happy birthday across the card with this panel matted on black completes the look.

Making sure not to add anything to distract from the card, I used a few white pearls on my card for added dimension. Swooning over this card for sure. Graphic Mountains With A Stencil

Hey everyone. I’m back with a quick card sharing a bold design. The new Hero Arts Graphic Mountains stencil is perfect to use with the Hero Arts Two-Tone Metallic Sprays. By covering up each section with a mask, you can color this stencil with the sprays in individual sections.

I used the Two-Tone Green and Gold spray for the mountains. I really wish you could see the shimmer and shine better on this card. For the sun I used the Two=Tone Yellow and Gold metallic spray. And for the water and sky I used the Two-Tone Blue and Gold spray. These sprays really give you so much with just a few sprays.

My tip is to use Pixie Spray with this stencil. This way your lines won’t move when you add the spray or even when you add inks. If you do get a bit of overspray, just use a white gel pen or a little bit of white gouache to fix the area.

After I finished stenciling the panel, I trimmed it down to back it with a piece of Hero Arts Kiwi cardstock. The sentiment on the card is from the Where To Next stamp set also from Hero Arts. Color Layering Watermelon Stencil

Hey everyone. I’m thrilled to be sharing this card with you today using the Color Layering Watermelon stencil from Hero Arts. This stencil is so much fun to use and look at those delicious watermelons.

Using the stencil on Hero Arts Sand Cardstock gives a different look compared to me using white cardstock. It adds a little more richness to the colors. The colors I used were Hero Arts Peony, Azalea, Kiwi and Fresh Lawn.

After I inked blended my inks onto the sand cardstock using Hero Arts Medium Blending Brushes, I outlined the fruit using a W-3 Copic maker. A little bit of white splatter on the card using Hero Arts Unicorn White Ink gave the card some texture. Next I stamped a sentiment from the Lemonade Day stamp set and heat embossed in Hero Arts Detail White Embossing powder. Instead of adhering the card straight onto a card panel, laying in on a diagonal and trimming off the excess gave this card a unique look.
