Pink and Main Sweet Carousel Stamp Set and Dies

February 7, 2019

I’m sharing a card using the new Pink and Main Sweet Carousel stamp set and matching dies.  I remember I was when my kids were younger they would love to ride the carousel at our state fairs.  It still bring back such sweet members for me.

For today’s card I pulled out some soft colored Copic markers and colored up this adorable image and banner.  Next I die cut out each piece and set them aside.  I pulled out my thin fishtails dies from Pink and Main to cut out a piece for my unicorn to hang out on.  I sponged on distress oxide inks in cracked pistachio, scattered straw and worn lipstick. To add some sparkle to my card I spritzed on some sparkle shimmer spritz from Imagine Crafts.

I pulled out a piece of polka dot paper from the Spring Fling 6×6 paper pad and used the next larger thin fish tail to cut it out.  I layered this piece as well as the oxide piece onto some pink card stock die cut with the Pink and Main stitched rectangle dies.  Keeping with the sparkle I spritzed the pink card stock with shimmer spritz also.

To finish off my card I popped my unciorn up on foam squares and placed it on oxide fish tail and I used glue to place down the banner.  I added some of the beautiful heart glossy dots (this is a sneak peek of a new product coming this month).  The last thing that was needed was a great sentiment.  I pulled the Let’s Celebrate You stamp from the Sweet Carousel stamp set.  I stamped it in black and popped it up under the unicorn.

The Sweet Carousel stamps and dies are available in the Pink and Main shop now.  I’ve linked everything below for you shopping convenience. (I’ve used affiliate links however there is no cost to you).  Have a great day everyone.  I’ll see you back here soon.

It’s Magical With Pink and Main

January 29, 2019

Hey peeps.  I hope you’ve been enjoying my design team work for Pink and Main this month.  Today I’m sharing the Magical stamp set and the Magical stand along die from Pink and Main.  Oh boy I love all of the word stand alone dies from Pink and Main and this one is no exception.    This is definitely a card you can make over and over again.

I started off by die cutting the magical die with pretty pink and rose gold foil paper.  Look how gorgeous that font is.  (Yup font snob right here 🙋🏽‍♀️). Next I stamped one of the sentiments from the Magical stamp set on pink paper in black and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I used a beautiful rose gold polka dot paper for my background paper and framed it down the side with charcoal gray card stock.  I also layered my sentiment on the same charcoal gray to keep it cohesive.

To finish off my card I added just a few rose gold sequin to the card.  I’m so happy with the way this card turned out and I hope you are too.

Alright peeps, it’s a wrap for today.  I’ll see you back here soon!

Pink and Main What A Hoot Birthday Card

January 10, 2019

Hey peeps.  I’m back today sharing another card using Pink and Main products.  I’m trying to stack up on my birthday cards for the year and this one will make an adorable card for any boy.  I used the What A Hoot stamp set and coordinating dies.  Before I start to color my image I pulled out my Celebrate 6×6 paper pad to make sure my color pencils matched the colors of this paper pad.  This makes it really easy to make a card look coordinated.  I do this whenever I’m coloring an image I know I will be using designer paper with.  I colored the adorable owl inside the birthday present with my Faber Castell polychromo pencils.

Once my image was colored I used a piece of scrap paper I had stored with this paper pad to place along the top and bottom of my card base.  Next I stamped one of the sentiments on my card base in black ink and popped up my colored image with 3M foam tape.  To add just a little bit more color, I pulled out the Birthday Boy glossy dots and used a few on the card.

That completes my card for today.  Swing by here soon for another card and more inspiration.  Have a great day everyone.

Pink and Main Diggity Dog Card

January 3, 2019

Hey everyone.  Today I’m sharing my first project as a design team member for Pink and Main.  I have known Michelle (the owner of Pink and Main) for awhile and she is such a sweetheart.  I’m happy to be helping her out as a design team member for the next couple of months.  For my card today I’m using the Pink and Main Diggity Dog stamp set and dies.    I love these cute little doggies for fun birthday cards.

I colored my cute little pups with Copic markers in a variety of colors.  I had to use five of the dogs on my card t create a doggy day birthday.  I mean how cute of these little guys.  After they were all colored I die cut them all out with the Diggity Dog coordinating dies.  To create my scene I sponged on a background of clouds onto a card base and die cut out some grassy hills to tuck my little doggies in.  Once the grassy hills were adhered to the card, I stamped out my sentiment and placed my images around the grass, tucking some into the valley of grass.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you enjoyed my card for using the Pink and Main Diggity Dog stamps and dies.  All products are linked below for your shopping convenience.

A Cute Little Unicorn For A Special Two Year Old

December 13, 2018

Hey peeps.  I’m really enjoying my time off from blogging and Youtube. I’ve been catching up on my watercoloring which was a must for me to stay creative.  I also am enjoying time with my friends.  One of my bestie’s Pocono Pam had a party for her grand daughter a week or so ago and it was a unicorn themed birthday party.  I mean right up my alley.  I just adore Ariah so much and she was the cutest unicorn on her birthday.  So Titi Dana had to make a unicorn card for the birthday girl.

I first pulled out my paper which is from Doodlebug Designs and matched my Copic markers to the colors.  I stamped out this adorable unicorn from the Darcie’s Heart and Home Drama Llama  stamp set.  After I had it all colored I pulled out my Phat Alphanumeric stamp set from InkOn3 and stamped out the letters of her name and colored them in ombre colors.

When everything was all colored and complete, I build up my card with a birthday stripe of paper that comes in the paper pad and layered everything onto a card panel.  I also grabbed out some baker’s twine and made a triple bow for the top of the card.  There is lots and lots of shimmer on the unicorn and letters unfortunately the camera can never catch all the sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I’m still creating cards while I’m in “relax” mode so I’ll be back with more inspiration soon.

Afternoon friends. I'm back with a card layering u Afternoon friends. I'm back with a card layering up my @heroarts bold prints. I love the look for texture on cards and by using two great bold prints, I created this beauty. A good tip to layering your bold prints, keep it simple! If your bold prints are too busy, layering them will be difficult.

For my card I used the Hero Arts Ginkgo Leaves and Positive Script bold prints. The script bold print is small enough that it doesn't overpower the leaves. And you don't have to be perfect with the script either as you are just giving the look for words not something that needs to be readable. Perfect match in cardmaking heaven.

You can find all the products I used on the blog today including this beautiful sentiment you see on my card. (it's one that speaks to my heart). Link is in the bio. Have a wonderful day everyone.
