Holiday Card Series 2023 – Day 6

Welcome back to the Holiday Card Series 2023. We are on Day 6 and we have rounded the corner to the last color palette of this year. Today’s color palette is a bright and cheerful one. And instead of building our own color palette we are going to use colors from a 6 x 6 designer paper pad.

Welcome back to the blog. It’s Day 5 of the Holiday Card Series 2023. Let’s take a look at the cards we have today.

You might have seen this card over on the Altenew blog a few weeks back. I loved this color combination and it really inspired me to create with it for the holiday card series.

This was also a card on the Altenew blog as well. By adding more brown to this palette, it truly changes up the look.

And for the last card, I really keep this one clean and simple. Love the design of this one.

Holiday Card Series 2023 – Day 4

Hey everyone! Oh boy today is a good day. The color palette for the Holiday Card Series 2023 – Day 4 is so beautiful. The bold colors of greens and pinks really work fabulously together!

The first card might just be a game changer in card making. I love the bold center design on this card.

Card two is a softer shade of the same colors.

And card three might just be my favorite of the Holiday Card Series 2023 Day 4!

Hey everyone. Welcome to the Holiday Card Series 2023 – Day 1! I’m super excited to share this series with you again this year. We switched things up and this year we are focusing on color versus technique.

I’ll share with you beautiful color palette that will level up your holiday cards. Tips and tricks to get them looking seamlessly created. Let’s take a quick look at the cards.

As you will see, each card is using the same color palette however they look slightly different

Alcohol Ink Valentine’s Day Card: Valentine’s Day Card Series Day 5

Hey everyone. We are to the final day of the Valentine’s Day Card Series for 2022. After watching a video by Tim Holtz I was inspired to pull out my alcohol pearl inks and play. And I’m so glad I did because the cards I created came out so pretty!  Let’s dive into the cards.

 

In the tutorial you will see how easy it was to create these gorgeous alcohol peal ink backgrounds. Remember, when you are playing or creating with alcohol inks just have fun. It takes practice to really learn how the inks will move so the more you use them the better you will understand how it flows.

 

 

The clean and simply style of these cards really make me happy. They were super easy to create and I will now leave my inks out more often to just create with no card design in mind.

 

Using that gorgeous Stylized Heart from Simon Says Stamp, pulls all this gorgeousness together.
