Hey everyone. Welcome back to the blog. Today we are playing with the Hero Arts Bold Prints. I absolutely love the Gingko Leaves Bold Print for a stunning background for my card. If you are new to Hero Arts bold prints, they are definitely a product you want to have in your stash to create cards.
For my card today, I kept it very simple by using different hues of green inks. By using a variation of greens, I am able to keep this card monochromatic in feel and intensity. If you want to draw the eye into the center of your cards, ink blend your ink around the edge. It also makes it look ever so elegant.
As a reminder, you can use several of your bold prints together. Using a word bold print over a clean and simple bold print, you add tons of texture to a card with little effort.
Since the bold prints took up the background, I needed to add a sentiment on vellum. Vellum is a great way to add a sentiment without blocking out what’s behind it. The sentiment I used today is the Live and Let Love stamp. This is one of my favorite sentiments! And look how pretty it is with our background.
