Who doesn’t love an adorable mushroom stamp set? The Hero Arts Hello Fungi stamp set is perfect for stepping into your fall card. With the beautiful line art of this stamp set, you can easily color this with your Copic markers or do what I did, and color it with your color pencils. I think this stamp said would be beautiful stamped in gold on black cardstock.
With fall colors right around the corner, I decided to pull in Hero Arts Woodland and Arctic cardstock. By placing the image on one of the Arches infinity dies it really allows the fungi to be present on this card.
As a reminder, if you want to color on color cardstock with your color pencils, be sure to add a base coat of white underneath your color. This way your colors would not be muted back into the colored background.
By chance your color is too dark, you can lighten up by adding in white on top. Make sure to use light layers of color and build up your layers. If you press too hard, you will add a wax to your cardstock and you won’t be able to build up your color to a nice blend.
