Altenew Build-A-Flower: Cora Louise Peony Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

January 1, 2021

Hey everyone.  I’m participating in the Altenew Build-A-Flower: Cora Louise Peony Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. You should have arrived here from Erum’s blog. It’s a super fun day to hop arrived this release. For a list of all participants you can head on over to the Altenew blog or see my links below.

My card today was kept very simple with just the focus of the card being this beautiful Cora Louise Peony. Allowing the flower to not be colored draws your eye directly to it on the navy background.

Simple sentiments around the peony completes this simple card.

Dear Dana – It’s cool that you took what is going to be a colored-in stamp on most designers’ pages and stripped it down to call attention to the detailed lines of the stamp itself. Such a cool take on this stamp! Love the stark contrast of the deep blue background and the lightness of the blooms.
    Happy New Year to you!
