Waffle Flower Home Sweet Home Stitchable Kit

Hey hey everyone. The Waffle Flower Home Sweet Home Stitchable Card Kit is now available. Oh I’m swooning over this kit. I used the I Want It All kit and it has made cross stitching on cards easy and fun. I have all the supplies I need to have a finished project in the end.

The background paper is included in the kit so I didn’t have to search my stash for matching paper. Isn’t this the sweetest little plant?

Also included in the kit are the sentiments you see on the card. All I had to do was glue everything down on my card base.

There are three kits to choose from. The Stitching Kit, the Cardmaking Kit and the one I used today I Want It All Kit. Each kit comes with thread, and designs. The bigger the kit, the more supplies you are going to receive. I hope you grab one of the kits and start cross stitching with me. I may just have therapeutic feel to you as well. Holiday Card Series 2021 – Day 8 Waffle Flower

Hey everyone. Welcome back to the Holiday Card Series 2021. We are on day 8 and the products today are from Waffle Flower. Today I felt like a little ink blending and a cover plate die would be a great match up. Using distress oxide inks with the Waffle Flower Poinsettia Cover Die help me make a stunning card.

This color palette is number 5 in the Ink Combos Guide! Love the non-traditional colors this creates for a holiday card.

My second card I used the same color palette however I switched up the stamp set. This time I used the Snowflake Background Stencil from Waffle Flower. Look how gorgeous those snowflakes are. The sentiments used on both cards are from the Waffle Flower Wonderful Christmas stamp set and coordinating dies.

By adding coordinating sequins I found in my stash, this card finished off beautifully.

Waffle Flower Card Challenge

Hey everyone. I’m joining Waffle Flower as a guest designer for the Waffle Flower Card Challenge this week. The theme for is Halloween. Let’s see your projects and make sure to tag Waffle Flower and use the hashtag of #WFChallenge2109. Now let’s check out the cards I made.

I’m so not a spooky Halloween person so my cards are more on the sweet side. I used the Waffle Flower Treat or Trick stamp set and the Waffle Flower Inky Stripes stencil for my first card. I kept my palette more on the pastel side to make it a non-traditional Halloween card. I colored the images with my Copic markers and fuzzy cut them out. A simple sentiment and a few stamped stars and this card was complete.

My second card is even a little sweeter. I used the Waffle Flower Paint Strokes stencil in the same color palette. This time I added some sparkle gel over the stencil to get my paint strokes to look like they are sugar coated. This was such a fun technique to try with this stencil. Once again I used the Waffle Flower Trick or Treat stamp set to add on the lollipops in coordinating colors and for my sentiment that I fuzzy cut to place in the middle of my card.

Look how beautiful those paint strokes are. They feel like they just could be sugar coated. Now that would be one tasty card. 😂😂😂

Valentine’s Day Card Series 2021 Day 4

Hello everyone. Welcome back to the Valentine’s Day Card Series 2021 Day 4. I’m so excited to share this card with you today as it’s totally out of my normal card style. I have taken up cross stitching and am in love. The simplicity of stitching has really given me comfort lately. No need to be in my craft room sitting at a desk. I can work from my bed or couch.

Waffle Flower stitching dies are the perfect craft for me when I don’t have the energy to create. It’s very mindless work and it keeps me active even when I don’t have the energy to do much. Creating a simple card with this die and the DMC makes it a perfect go to for me. I can stitch until I’m complete and then save the pieces for cards later.

This die is so much fun to use. I have several of them already completed and ready for cards. I will share a different design using this die later.

Doing cross stitch as a young child was so enlightening. As I got older I set it aside and moved on to different crafts. I’m so glad I have found my love of it again.

Save The Crafty Youtuber Video Hop

Hey everyone. I know I have been missing in action but I’m back for the Save The Crafty Youtuber Video Hop. There are so many amazing people who share their creativeness on Youtube. I’m so thrilled to participate again this year in the Save The Crafty YouTuber Video hop. Let’s get started.

For my card today I used products from Waffle Flower and Heffy Doodle. This was a super easy card to pull together and can be changed up to so many color combinations. I kept mine to very spring like colors since it’s pretty warm here in Florida.

Now let me give you a heads up. I had to record this video THREE times. My computer decided not to play nicely with me and since the Apple stores are closed during this time, I had to record it multiple times to get it to export correctly. After five plus hours on the phone with Apple, I switched to creating the video on my phone and I was successful with an upload. (A lot of wine was involved to keep my nerves down). 😂
