Gina K Designs Guest Designer

Hey hey peeps. I’m super excited to be Gina K Designs Guest Designer this month. I simply adore Gina and her amazing team. Gina’s products are some of the prettiest in the craft community and she is one heck of a sweet and caring human being.

My card is featuring the Some Bunny stamp set and coordinating dies. Oh this stamp set truly reminds me of Easter. I remember getting my Easter basket each year and couldn’t wait to dig into the jelly beans, marshmallow Peeps and colorful Easter eggs. This stamp set brings me back to a sweet time in my life. This card was so much fun to make with all the bright and happy colors inks from Gina K. Designs.

Using all the eggs, I stamped them in rainbow of colors on my card for my card. Diecutting them out helped to create a border on my card. I also sponged on a fun circle background using the Rina K Designs Sending Sunshine stencil in the same colors of ink.

Stamping a simple sentiment down the middle of my card kept my card colorful and bright. I love layering bright colored cards on black cardstock. It just makes the color pop even more.

For a bit of added interest I pulled out some colorful jewels in matching colors for a little bit of sparkle on my card. Make sure to head on over to the Gina K. Gina K Designs and Pear Blossom Press Collaboration

Using the Gina K Designs Holiday Trees stamp set I lined a card panel with one of the trees from the stamp set in Gina K. Designs Grass Green ink. I was careful to mask off each tree so there was no overlap of cover. Once I had the trees stamped, I colored in the sky using my BG0000 and BG000 Copic maker.

Carefully freehanding a snow bank with my scissors I place it under the trees and stamped the Merry Christmas and press me in Gina K. Designs Lipstick ink. The press me sentiment is from Heffy Doodle Interactively Yours stamp set. Adding just a touch of glitter along the snow bank makes my card sparkle.

Now it was time to assemble my card. Pulling out a small circle punch I punched out a few of the small circles on the trees. Behind those hole I placed a piece of vellum and attached my Easy Lights. I placed the battery pack under the press me and adhered it with double sided tape. I layered this panel with foam tape and placed it on a card panel that was lined with red card stock.

Adding just a few gems to the tree and my card was complete. This card was sooo easy to put together and the addition of the lights makes it just perfect. Here is a video from Pear Blossom Press showing how to us their EZ Lights.

Gina K. Designs Holiday Hexagons and Sentimental Holiday

Hey everyone. I’m super excited to be sharing Gina K. Designs Holiday Hexagons and Sentimental Holiday stamp sets. These stamp sets are full of holiday spirits and both stamp sets work perfectly together. Let’s check out the card I made.

Keeping in the traditional holiday colors I used Gina K. Designs Grass Green and Coral Reef with a pop of gold. I am so in love with how this card turned out. Stamping the snowflakes in a solid color and then am ombre’ of both colors really makes a statement. Popping up a gold snowflake in the center of the panel really shows the elegant design of this stamp set.

Here’s a few closeups of the cards. Filling in around the snowflakes with the sequin shaped stamps I was able to add just a touch more gold to the card.

We also need tags for the holidays right? So why not create one your gift recipient will love. On this tag I used the Sentimental Holiday stamp set. Keeping with the same color combination as the card above this tag is a sure winner. This stamp set is full of beautiful sentiments for all your holiday cards and tags.

Matching my tag also to my card keeps my gift giving simple and stylish.

Simple Stenciling – Valentine’s Day Card Series 2020 Day 1

Hey everyone. I have some simple stenciling with glitz glitter gel for day 1 of the Valentine’s Day Card Series for 2020. This series run for one week and I get the chance to share my take on Valentine’s Day card. Really most of these cards, you can totally give to someone even if it’s not this holiday.

For my card I’m using supplies by Thermoweb, Gina K Designs and Simple Stories. These products work beautiful together. I kept today’s card on the simpler side so you can easy mass produce this card in multiple colors.

I love the tricks-color combination on this card. Remember if you want to keep your card really simple, just use one color. I think using a combination of glitz glitter gel just adds a little more interest to the card. Remember, its your design, go with what makes you happy.

Hey everyone. So glad you are here today for the Seasons Givings Blog Hop. Latisha Yoast has been such a gracious host for the past eight years giving us the opportunity to give back to our followers. Thank you so much Latisha for all your had work.

With that being said I want to thank all of you for supporting me not only through 2019 but since I stared my blog over ten years ago. I have been so blessed to meet some wonderful people while enjoying my crafty hobby. Your sweet comments and likes have really lifted me up. This year as been a really rough one for my family however we have gotten through it with love, strength, faith and friends/family. Crafting has been an outlet for me since I started and seeing you watch my videos and share my cards is heartwarming.

Now onto my card and tutorial. If you have been following me on Instagram, you know I’m a champagne lover especially during the holidays. So this year I turned my love of my favorite champagne into a card.

I absolutely love how this card came out. The gold on the green looks stunning. Keeping the card clean and simple really works for this design.

Had to share the bottle label with the card. If you love champagne let me know which kind you like. I would love to try something new.
