Heffy Doodle and InkOn3 Collaboration Hop

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle and InkOn3 Collaboration hop. We are so happy so see you today. The design teams from both companies will be sharing amazing inspiration cards with you today. InkOn3 and Heffy Doodle are amazing small business companies which I love supporting!

Let’s get into how I made my card for today. I used the Heffy Doodle Crazy Kaleidoscope and sponged on InkOn3 Atelier inks. I choice to use rainbow inspired colors so my background would be bright and happy. Want to see a tutorial on how this card was made? Look below. 😉

Inkon3 Heffy Doodle Adding to the colorful theme I used the Magical Unicorn from InkOn3. I stamped it in Blackout Ink onto watercolor paper. To color my pretty unicorn I watercolored it with the same colors of Atelier inks I used for my background. Theses inks are perfect for stamps and work wonderfully with watercoloring.

Once the image was completely colored, I die cut it with the coordinating Magical Unicorn die. Next I added some hits of shimmer with Liquid Pixie Dust. I love the sparkle of this product. To finish off the card I trimmed down the layering panel and backed it with black card stock and adhered it onto a white card base. For added dimension I popped up the unicorn with foam take, added a few gems and for the sentiment I used the Hey die cut from Heffy Doodle. I die cut it three times, adhered them together and added them to the bottom of the card.

This card just makes my giggle. The bright cheery colors and beautiful design layout is a perfect way to end my card making day. Paper Sweeties Birthday Blog Hop With Pink and Main

Hey everyone. Welcome to the Pink and Main/Paper Sweeties Birthday Blog Hop. I’m so excited to be a part of this hop. It’s going to be full of inspiration and creativity overload. Paper Sweeties has some really cute stamps and products. So let’s get started.

For my card today I used the Pink and Main Pen Pals as my background paper. I trimmed down the pattern paper so I could add a pretty gray piece of card stock behind it. Next I stamped out the sentiment on white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and trimmed it down. I also placed the sentiment strip onto gray card stock. I added faux white stitching to both panels with a .10 point gelly roll pen. Finishing off this panel I glued the sentiment strip onto the pattern paper panel.

Now it was time to die cut out the love sentiment from Paper Sweeties. I die cut this piece several times and glued the piece together for extra weight. I then used my white gelly roll pen to go over the letters for some white highlights. Once this was complete I adhered it to my card panel and covered the sentiment with Nuvo Crystal Glaze. To keep the card colorful, I placed my pattern paper panel onto a rose card base. Adding just a touch of bling to my card I used these pretty flower sequins also from Paper Sweeties.

Here is a closeup of my card. The little flower sequins are open in the center however I placed a small gem in the middle of mine.

Hey everyone. It’s a beautiful day here on the blog. The Encouragement Card Hop is full of inspiration. If you are looking for inspiration and seeing amazing projects you are in the right place. To be a part of the hop is so heartwarming for me. I truly believe in supporting the wonderful people in this community of crafters.

This Encouragement Card Hop is lifting others up when they might not be having the best of times. For me, this passed year has been extremely tough for my family and having the support of my crafty peeps has been a life saver. Remember encouragement can come in different forms, so reach out to your friends, families and even strangers. Let them know you are here for them.

Topflight Stamps Birthday Hop

It is Topflight Stamps 2nd birthday! To celebrate, we’ve teamed up with up some of our favorite crafters to bring you a blog hop showcasing some of the fabulous products available from Topflight Stamps. Please hop along with us all and show all of the crafters some love! The Topflight Stamps birthday hop is going to be awesome.

Here is my cards for today. I used the Darkroom Door Paint Drips and Paints Brushes on my cards. I LOVE both of these stamps for cardmaking. I’m a huge watercolor person so these just spoke to me when I saw them. The first card I heat embossed the paint drips and a sentiment in gold embossing powder over a pretty alcohol ink background. I trimmed down this panel so I could layer it over black card stock. Next I stamped the sentiment on black card stock, heat embossed it in gold and cut out just a portion of the sentiment. I added this strip on the card front for added interest. Lastly I added this piece to a white card base to complete the card.

For my next card I really wanted to make these little brushes stand out on their own. I stamped and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder and fussy cut each one out. Next I added glue to the end of each one and sprinkled on glitter on the ends. I used red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple glitter.

I stenciled a background in rainbow order to have a nice landing place for my brushes. Stamping out the sentiment directly on this panel keep the card very simple. I used a white card base for my card. I added some cheery red card stock to this panel and then glued on the dotted background. Lastly I added some foam tape behind each paint brush and popped it up near the coordinating colored dots.

Pink and Main 5th Birthday Blog Hop – Inspiration Overload

Hey peeps. Today we are celebrating Pink and Main’s 5th Birthday Blog Hop. I’m so excited for everyone today. Pink and Main has been one of my favorite stamp companies since Michelle started. She is an incredible woman and she has made Pink and Main one of the go to places for beautiful stamps, dies, paper and embellishments. We have some amazing and talented people on this hop and I’m sure you’re going to be blown away with so much inspiration. For my card today I’m using the Party Balloons stamp and coordinating die cuts. I’ve also pulled in a sentiment from the Sweet Bouquet stamp set.

To create my card, I pulled out a variety of inks and stamped out fun confetti onto a white card base. I used the same inks to stamp out each balloon. Stamping the coordinating design on each one with gold ink makes the balloon shine. Next I die cut out each balloon and added some gold thread to the bottoms of each one. Stacking the balloons one on top of the other leaving space for each one to be seen give me my focal point. The last two balloons I added just a bit of foam tape to pop them up.

To add my sentiment, I pulled out a piece of yellow card stock and stamped one of the sentiments. This sentiment came from the Sweet Bouquet stamp set. Trimming this piece into a sentiment banner and adding some foam tape to the back, allowed me to keep the balloon strings all together. Adding just a few gold sequin finished off the card nicely.
