Hero Arts Birthday Balloon Bold Prints Card

Hey everyone. I’ve shared two days of easy birthday cards and today I have one more for you. This card is very clean and simple as the sentiment give us our pop of color. When there isn’t any time to color, grab a colorful background to create your sentiment. I had this alcohol ink background sitting in a drawer waiting to be placed on a card. Using the die from the Birthday Message Stamp and Cut XL, I die cut it from the panel. Stacking several of the sentiments on top of each other gave my card a little height. Remember stacking your sentiments with dove white cardstock is a great way instead of using foam tape.

 

 

Again a simple black and white backgound and the card is complete. Birthday Balloons Bold Print for the win!

Hero Arts Birthday Border Fancy Die

Hey everyone. I promised more birthday cards this week so here’s another quick one. Using a cover die or border die is a great way to make a quick card. The design element is already there for you all you need is a sentiment. Check out this card I made using the Hero Arts Birthday Border Fancy die.

Keeping this card super simple with just a ombre-ish background panel of Hero Arts Lemon Drop, Key Lime Fizz and Pool Party Reactive inks. Using the Hero Arts Blending Brushes made this background perfect to make for this card.

For added dimension, I did cut the border die two times and adhered them together with Hero Arts Precision Glue.

I’m not sure you can see it in the photo but for a tad bit of shimmer on the card, I used the Hero Arts Iridescent Shimmer Spray. I love this stuff as it’s so sparkly and pretty.

Hero Arts Bunch Of Balloons Birthday Card

Hey everyone. I’m back sharing some quick and easy birthday cards using the Hero Arts Bunch Of Balloons Stamp set and the coordinating Bunch Of Balloons Fancy Cut.  Having extra birthday cards on hand are a must in my house. I always seem to need one when I least expect it.

The Bunch of Balloons stamp set pairs perfectly with the Hero Arts Birthday Balloons Bold Print background stamp. I created two cards in different color palettes using just my Copic markers as my coloring medium. Keeping the background just black and white or gray and white lets the balloons really pop!

 

The Copics I used from this card were R08, YR04, Y35, B04, N2 and N3. The colored cardsock is Hero Arts Cherry.

For this card the following Copics were used R20, R43, BG11, BG34, Coo and Co1. The color cardstock is Hero Arts Paradise.

Hero Arts My Monthly Hero June 2021 – Party Animals

Hey it’s that time! The Hero Arts My Monthly Hero kit for June 2021is now available. Who’s ready for a par-tay? Remember on my countdown post mentioned this kit is party ready. There is so much fun to be had with this set. It even have little confetti dots in the kit! Let’s grab a cake and get this party started.

 

 

My little puppy is floating away on his party balloons. I had so much fun creating this card. It’s a rather clean and simple card with an easy to recreate design. You can even change the image to the cat which is included in the kit.

 

 

Also remember I said there were great add-ons this month as well.  All of them are party themed. So my next card is made with the Candles Bold Print background stamp and the Birthday Messages Stamp and Cut XL. To begin this card I pulled out my Fruit Punch, Lemon Drop and Pool Party reactive inks to stamp the background. Next I used the same colors and blended them onto Dove White card stock to die cut out my celebrate.

 

 

Stacking the celebrate sentiment gave it some weight. I added some sparkle clear lacquer pen to this sentiment and set it aside to try. Back to the panel I went to stamp the coordinating sentiment from the Birthday Messages Stamp and Cut XL with intensified black ink. I wanted this card to light up so I colored in the tips of the candles and selected three of them to place my EZ Lights behind.

 

 

 

Keeping my card bright and happy, I decided to use Paradise card stock to make the card base. I truly LOVE the way this card turned out. It really makes my heart happy. Hero Arts My Monthly Hero June 2021 Countdown

Hey everyone.  It’s countdown time for the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero June 2021 kit. And if you are in the mood to par-tay this kit is definitely for you! This kit is for all the party animals out there. It’s fun and full of happiness for your next birthday card.

My sneak peek card has my little puppies stealing the cake and eating it under the table. I can totally see this happening with my little Remy. He loves to snack on anything he can get his paws on.

I had drew the floor and table. I guess you can tell because it looks like a kindergartner did it! Drawing is not my strong suit but hey I manage when it comes to making a card. 😂
