Now for my card I pulled out all the shades of blue. I love how this card came out and the simple beauty of this Bearded Iris stamp set. Using the blue kept my card more on the cool side of the color spectrum. There might not be a lot of blue flowers in nature and I’m sure the Bearded Iris is not blue but remember, this is your own art. You make it whatever color you like. If you are looking for the most elegant and realistic iris, you are in the right place! This stamp set prominently features a gorgeous bearded iris outline with four additional coloring layers, along with its stems and leaves. You may use the other iris outline as background foliage, or simply add it to floral arrangements stamped as is or colored in with your favorite coloring medium.
As you can see in the photo I used all Altenew inks from the Northern Shores Mini Cube set in the follow colors Icy Water, Winter Lake, Arctic Mountain. I pulled these colors from the Altenew 6×6 A Love Of Stripes Set D.
With adding just a touch of gold to the card using the Altenew Navy and Gold Trim Washi tape and some gold baubles my card was complete.
