Altenew 7th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 3 + Giveaway (over $1,400 in Total Prizes)

April 10, 2021

Hello everyone. Welcome welcome to the Altenew 7th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 3 + Giveaway (over $1,400 in Total Prizes). WOW I’m so excited for Altenew and am thrilled to be participating. With so many prizes up for grab, you will definitely want to leave comments along the hop. You should have arrived here from Nicole’s blog. You will be inspired to make beautiful cards and projects after seeing all the samples on the hop.

My card today features the Our Friendship Blooms stamp set. This is one of my favorite Altenew sets. The gorgeous flower is so easy to color with the coordinating Our Friendship Blooms stencil. Using the Doodled Dots Cover Die also from Altenew was the perfect back drop for my flower. Keeping my card colorful I used Sunray, Snapdragon and Marigold inks to blend my cover panel. I also stamped the flower twice, fuzzy cutting out the mail flower, stenciling on the color and then popping it up on the flower bouquet.

Leaving the rest of the flower in black and white really allows that beautiful center flower stand out.

For the center of my flower, I used Nuvo drops in orange.  Using just a simple sentiment and placing everything on a white card base, my card was complete.

Let's mix things up on our next Valentine's Day Ca Let's mix things up on our next Valentine's Day Cards. I'm using two products I don't think I've ever used together before. Hot foil plates and stencils for the win! I have two very different color palettes today that aren't your traditional red and pink cards.

I do have a favorite out of these two cards. Can you guess which one? Check out the tutorial to see just how easy these cards were to put together. (link in bio)

Morning everyone. It's another day for valentine c Morning everyone. It's another day for valentine cards. In today's tutorial I made a trio of valentine cards from one background. This was so easy and so much fun to make. Where are my Distress Oxide Spray lovers?

With three colors of @tim_holtz Distress Oxide Sprays these cards were created. I don't have all the sprays and are "collecting" them little by little. The fear of using these sprays have been unleashed. 😂😂😂 After watching more and more videos from Tim, my nervousness of "messing it up" has been replaced by "oh that's so pretty".

By using just two die cuts from products from the January 2023 release from @heroarts

The link for the tutorial is in the bio and I hope I inspire you to start creating your Valentine's Day Cards.
