Seasons Givings

Hey everyone.  So glad you are here today for the Seasons Givings Blog Hop.  Latisha Yoast has been such a gracious host for the past eight years giving us the opportunity to give back to our followers.  Thank you so much Latisha for all your had work.

With that being said I want to thank all of you for supporting me not only through 2019 but since I stared my blog over ten years ago. I have been so blessed to meet some wonderful people while enjoying my crafty hobby.  Your sweet comments and likes have really lifted me up.  This year as been a really rough one for my family however we have gotten through it with love, strength, faith and friends/family.  Crafting has been an outlet for me since I started and seeing you watch my videos and share my cards is heartwarming.

Let’s get started with the giveaway for this year.  Concord & 9th is one of my favorite craft companies.  So I will be giving away the Concord & 9th Crafty Turnabout stamp.  I have two of these, one for you and one for a friend.  Make sure to leave a comment below telling me what crafty friend you would love to stamp with. Comments will close January 8th at 11:59 PM EST. (USA ONLY due to shipping cost)

Crafty Turnabout Stamp

There will be giveaways on EACH stop along the hop.  So many giveaways and plenty of chances to win.  Make sure to leave a comment on the posts.

Now onto my card and tutorial.  If you have been following me on Instagram, you know I’m a champagne lover especially during the holidays.  So this year I turned my love of my favorite champagne into a card.

I absolutely love how this card came out.  The gold on the green looks stunning.  Keeping the card clean and simple really works for this design.

Had to share the bottle label with the card.  If you love champagne let me know which kind you like.  I would love to try something new.

Seasons Givings Blog Hop

Here’s the tutorial on how this card came together.  You can watch it here or over on my Youtube channel. All products I used are listed below.  Affiliate links are used at no cost to  you.  Thanks for supporting my channel.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I’ll see you back here with more inspiration soon!  Take care and Happy New Year.

Thanks for being a sponsor of the Season of Giving hop! I’m not a drinker of alcoholic beverages, so I can’t give you any new ideas to try, but I do like the fireworks on the card. That stencil looks so great and sparkly when used with the glitter paste. I wonder if I could somehow turn that bottle into soda? I used to do card classes with a special group of ladies before the local shop closed. I think I would pick one of them to receive a stamp set.

Honestly, the crafty friends that I most like to stamp with are my niece and nephew. We’ve started them early on their crafting journeys (my niece starting making pasanka eggs when she was 2 and my nephew loves painting with my watercolors now that he is 2) and they are really getting interested in my stamps and my special “stamping machine” (my stamping platform) so we’ve started stamping and painting and coloring together. They are my favorite people, so I love including them in making cards or members of our family.
Great champagne card. I love the green, it’s my favorite color!
    Thanks!

Morning everyone. It's another day for valentine c Morning everyone. It's another day for valentine cards. In today's tutorial I made a trio of valentine cards from one background. This was so easy and so much fun to make. Where are my Distress Oxide Spray lovers?

With three colors of @tim_holtz Distress Oxide Sprays these cards were created. I don't have all the sprays and are "collecting" them little by little. The fear of using these sprays have been unleashed. 😂😂😂 After watching more and more videos from Tim, my nervousness of "messing it up" has been replaced by "oh that's so pretty".

By using just two die cuts from products from the January 2023 release from @heroarts

The link for the tutorial is in the bio and I hope I inspire you to start creating your Valentine's Day Cards.
