I love Altenew’s Layering Stamps but there is no way I would be using them without the Misti for sure. The layering set I used on this card is Peaceful Wreath. I made this my first card because the holidays are hard y’all!

With so many friends who have lost loved ones this year including myself, I had two empty chairs at Thanksgiving and they will be empty at Christmas as well and it just makes the holidays hard. I have been having a pretty rough time this month on top of it being the holiday I lost a very very dear friend this month.  Christmas will be hard as I miss her so much already. She always sent me a handmade card and a gift for me and a gift for Willis from her pup.

With that being said, I am hoping that this card brings the recipient some comfort. I created this card starting with a white card base and a white panel. Using the misti of course I stamped the first half of the wreath and then flipped the panel and stamped again to complete the wreath, doing this with each layer. Once I got the wreath completed I stampe the “peace” with  my favorite embossing ink and then embossed it in gold powder and then using the mini misti I added the rest of the greeting.
