It is Topflight Stamps 2nd birthday!  To celebrate, we’ve teamed up with up some of our favorite crafters to bring you a blog hop showcasing some of the fabulous products available from Topflight Stamps.   Please hop along with us all and show all of the crafters some love! Here is my cards for today.  I used the Darkroom Door Paint Drips and Paints Brushes on my cards.  I LOVE both of these stamps for cardmaking.  I’m a huge watercolor person so these just spoke to me when I saw them.  The first card I heat embossed the paint drips and a sentiment in gold embossing powder over a pretty alcohol ink background.  I trimmed down this panel so I could layer it over black card stock.  Next I  stamped the sentiment on black card stock, heat embossed it in gold and cut out just a portion of the sentiment.  I added this strip on the card front for added interest. Lastly I added this piece to a white card base to complete the card.

 

 

 

For my next card I really wanted to make these little brushes stand out on their own.  I stamped and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder and fussy cut each one out.  Next I added glue to the end of each one and sprinkled on glitter on the ends.  I used red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple glitter.

I stenciled a background in rainbow order to have a nice landing place for my brushes. Stamping out the sentiment directly on this panel keep the card very simple.  I used a white card base for my card.  I added some cheery red card stock to this panel and then glued on the dotted background.  Lastly I added some foam tape behind each paint brush and popped it up near the coordinating colored dots.
