Spellbinders and Sandi MacIver Surfboard Die Cut

June 16, 2026

Hello everyone. I’m finally back on the blog. I have a great card to share with you using the Spellbinders and Sandi MacIver’s Surfboard Die Cut. Now you can use this die cut with felt or with cardstock as I did on my card.

To create this card I first start with the background. Using masking tape, I taped off the first are which is my sand. I used Concord and 9th Sand ink and lightly blended it on the bottom of my card. To make the sand look textured, I grabbed a Olo marker in brown and did little dots over the blended color. Next I taped off an area to blend in the water. The colors I used for the water were Concord and 0th Surfside and Capri as well as using a white gel pen to mimic waves. To add the foamy waves coming onto the sand, my large white Faber Castell Pitt Artist pen came in handy.

Now to add the sky, I repeated taping off the top area of my card and used Concord and 9th Sunflower, Clementine and Watermelon inks to bled in the sky. I used a white gel pen and the white pitt artist pen to make faux dreamy clouds. Even without the surfboard and sentiment this card is beautiful.

For the surfboard die cut I used the Sandi Maclver to cut out five surfboards and one way. As you can see in the photo, you can only see the Blush cardstock. However, I built up the surfboard with Bees Wax, Rainforest, Waterfall, Lavender and Blush cardstock from Spellbinders. When you tilt the card to the side the colors look so pretty. The way is from an older paper pad called Birthday Bash from Honey Bee. The stitching on the card was done by using iridescent thread from  Simon Says Stamp. I wish you could see this card in person. The thread is beautiful.

And lastly for the sentiment, I used the aloha sentiment from this months large die of the month club from Spellbinders. For added sparkle I die cut out the letters in iridescent paper and used a cute flower die for the O in the middle of the sentiment. I have the summer vibes. Okay everyone that’s it for today. I’ll be back soon with another card and more inspiration. Have a great week.

Spellbinders| Dandelion Dreams

March 11, 2026

Morning everyone. I’m sharing a card made with the new Spellbinders Dandelion Dreams stamp set from the House Mouse collection. This has to be one of the sweetest cards I have ever made. This little mouse in the dandelion has my heart.

To start off this card I stamped the image onto a piece of white cardstock with Hero Arts Cup O’ Joe ink. Next I pulled out my Prismacolor pencils to color in the adorable little house. To add a little more fluff to the the dandelion, I added some white pigment ink and dabbed it over the entire section. It really does make the dandelion stand out.

I wanted to add a little bit of color around this sweet little mouse, so I grabbed some yellow ink and a damp paintbrush to paint the color around the mouse. Next, I used a circle die cut to cut out the image. For the background, I used Spellbinders Windy cardstock and Hero Arts Dusty Blue ink to stamp a few pappus images on the background.

Lastly I added a sentiment from the stamp set in Hero Arts Cup O’ Joe ink and placed the panel on a white card base.

I absolutely love how this card turned out. Make sure to swing by the Spellbinders store and pick up the Dandelion Dreams stamp set and check out more inspiration using this new collection.

Spellbinders and Jaycee Gasper Collection March 2026

March 10, 2026

Today is such an exciting day. It’s the release of the Spellbinders and Jaycee Gasper March 2026 release. First I’m so happy and proud of Jaycee. He is such an incredible creator and just a wonderful human. Let’s get into the cards I made using products from this release.

My first card is featuring the new Fragmented Gaze Etched dies and the Ambient Aura stencil set. This die set is such a striking one and I’m absolutely loving it. It’s so easy to create with. What I love about it the most, we don’t see a lot of dies like this and I believe they would be such a great addition to the cardmaking community.

The Ambient Aura stencil works so well with this bold die set. You can always use the stencil on it’s own and just add a sentiment to it.

Now for my next card, I used the new Sensory Facets Etched dies. This die set as well makes a striking card. What I love the most about this one is that “hair” of the image. The way the face lines up is also so beautiful and different.

Here is a quick overview video of the products I used from the All My Senses collection.

Both of these dies would also work well in mix media and scrapbook applications.

Stretch your creating with purchasing these dies. There are more items in his collection and you can find them over on the Spellbinders website.

Spellbinders Monthly Club Kits

March 10, 2026

Good morning everyone. Don’t forget to grab your Spellbinders Monthly Club Kits before registrations for this month ends on March 27, 2026. Today I’ll share with you two of the kits I made cards with. Here is a recap of the cards I made for this month.

The first card is made using this months Stitching Die club. This month’s die is perfect for the baseball hat loving fans. I love my a great hat on days when I want to feel sassy or to be honest, it’s just a bad hair day. LOL

Spellbinders Monthly Stitching Die Club

The cardstock used for my hat is Cosmic Sky, Pomegranate and White. For the floss, I used DMC 347. Now the inspiration that I have seen from designers is AMAZING so make sure to check out the other designers blogs or social media.

Let’s move on to the Spellbinders Stencil Of The Month. Get ready to jazz up your cards with this stencil set that gives you a gorgeous sunray on your cards. With the addition of the last stencil to create these cool dots on the panel just levels up this card.

My ink colors are Dandelion, Pink Grapefruit, Arctic and Black all from Hero Arts. For the white dots, I used Hero Arts White Paste. The sentiment is from the Spellbinders Birthday Laughs Sentiment stamp set. One of my new favs.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope I’ve inspired you to join this two clubs. Remember the clubs open to non-members on the 6th of each month and closes on the 27th. Have a great day everyone and I’ll see you back here soon.
