It’s Day 5 of the Holiday Card Series. The inspiration just keeps coming. Today I have a cards using Pretty Pink Posh products. Let’s get into the first card. I used the Joy stamp and die from Pretty Pink Posh to make this masculine holiday card. Do you struggle with masculine cards? You are not the only one. I need holiday cards for my male friends and this one was super easy to make.
Simple coloring and a clean design help to make this card easy.
Let’s get into the tutorial. You can also watch any of the videos during the series on my Youtube channel.
For my bonus card today, I start by die cutting some designer paper and green card stock with the Festive Holly Dies. These dies are so much fun to work with. There is a main die to cut out the shape as well as another die to make a border piece. I also cut out the berries in red card stock. Next I glued the top green layer onto the designer paper and adhered the berries on top. I added a bit of shimmer to the berries before I covered them with glossy accent. I set this aside to dry and moved on to my sentiment piece.
To being I trimmed dow a piece of red card stock to fit the width of my card. I layered this piece onto green designer paper that had a holly design on it. Pulling out my Misti I stamped the sentiment and additional hollies in Versamark ink and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. For some added detail I used a white gelly roll pen to add faux stitching to this panel.
Once my holly was dry, I popped them up around my sentiment. This card was very easy to pull together. I can totally see mass producing this card in multiple holiday colors.
Thanks for visiting today. Come back tomorrow for more inspiration for another guest designer.
