Morning peeps. Today is the October 2020 Stand-Alone Dies Release blog hop for Altenew. Get ready for some beautiful dies to create with. You should have arrived here from Jaycee’s blog. Let’s get into the cards!
For my first card I used the Modern Fireplace Layering Die set. This die is perfect for those cozy at home cards. You can create your own fireplace and never have to put a hole in your walls. LOL Okay that was cheesy! I love this die as it’s like interior design for me.
I kept my card in a cool color tone with just a pop of color. Oh that beautiful JOY you see onto of the mantel was die cut using the new Linear Pathway Alpha Solid die set.
For the “tiles” in the fire place, I covered them with glossy accents to make them shiny. It’s like home design on a card. LOVE IT!
My next card was created by using the Linear Pathway Alpha Outline Dies. They work perfectly for a layered looked using the Linear Pathway Alpha Solid dies.
Creating a backdrop of my alpha dies was easy using the Birch Forest stamp from Altenew. To see this full stamp click here to see my post from a few weeks ago.
The letters were cut out of red glitter cardstock. I mean we all need some sparkle in our life right? Layering this panel on black cardstock really allow the panel to pop!
