Simon Says Stamp And Everything Nice Release

Hello everyone. The Simon Says Stamp And Everything Nice release is now available. You might have seen this card over on my Instagram. I used the Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Poinsettia Frame embossing folder with the new Triangle Whirl Trees die cuts.

I started with Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse Red A2 Fold Scored Cards. After I cut the card in half I ran one panel through my die cutting machine with the new Beautiful Poinsettia Frame embossing folder. Next I ink blended Simon Says Stamp Cranberry Ink to add to the outer design to add some depth the the poinsettias. For added sparkle, I added gold splatter with shimmery gold watercolor.

 

While the panel was drying, I die cut the Triangle Whirl Trees from the matte gold cardstock. By stacking the trees one behind the other, they fit nicely in the center of my design.

To pull some of the red to the trees, I used Pinkfresh Studio Clear Drops in Scarlet. Oh this really makes the trees look so nice.

I decided to keep this card sentiment free as I wanted the design to stand on it’s own. Remember you don’t always have to use a sentiment on a card. Let the design speak for itself. Concord and 9th Joyful Wreath

Morning everyone. Today I’m sharing a card using the new Concord and 9th Joyful Wreath. This die set is perfect for your holiday cards. The machine behind the Joyful Wreath is it’s layering process. The leaves on this wreath line up with stitched lines of the outer layer or you and slightly adjust them like I’ve done on mine to get a fuller look.

You can die cut the wreath with the center still in the middle of or remove the center with the included die cut. It’s a very adjustable die set to use.

Also within in the die set, there is a die with stitching on it for accenting your card panel. You can see it on the white layer of my card. I paired the Joyful Wreath die set with the new Seasons Greetings bundle. I love the sentiments in this stamp set.

The colors I used for my card are Pomento, Eucalyptus and Juniper. I love this color palette for holiday cards. The sentiment is stamped and heat embossed in silver embossing powder. For added interest, I used a silver paint pen to add some dots around my wreath.

Holiday Card Series 2024 – Day 3 – Monochromatic Betterpress Holiday Cards

Hey everyone. Welcome to Day 3 of the Holiday Card Series 2024. Today we are making a monochromatic Betterpress Holiday cards! I have really fallen for my Spellbinders Betterpress Letterpress machine. This machine really is worth the money in my opinion. It helps to create gorgeous letterpress cards in no time. These easy monochromatic cards will be perfect for any time of the year.

Hero Arts Holiday 2023 Catalog Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Hero Arts Holiday 2023 Catalog Release Blog Hop. You should have arrived here from Channin’s blog. It’s time to get ready for the holiday season. I love making cards for family and friends during the holiday season. So let’s get started.

I’m sharing cards I made using several products from the catalog. My first card is using the Hero Arts Style Moderne Bold Print. I’m absolutely in LOVE with this bold print. The style of the print is so  unique and can be used for any season of the year. Keeping this card with a simple color palette really made the design stand out. Only a sentiment from the Hero Arts Holiday Season Messages and a few black enamel dots and this card was complete.

For my  next card golden snowflakes on Hero Arts Nautical cardstock was the way to go. The new Hero Arts Three Snowflakes Hot Foil Plate looks so rich with a darker background. It really makes a holiday card look elevated. To make the snowflakes stand out even more, I darkened the edges of my cardstock with Hero Arts Nautical ink.

And for my last card,  we have an adorable little elf. The Hero Arts Peeking Elf Fancy Die really does make a sweet and fun card. I have him peeking out from a present I made. Isn’t he just too cute. All the Peeking Fancy Dies from the catalog are perfect for cards, tags and so much more. By using a newish color palette for my holiday card made this card special. The Hero Arts Cranberry, Arctic and Pine cardstock work well together when creating holiday cards.

Hero Arts City Park Heroscape

Morning everyone. I have a card today using the new Hero Arts City Park Heroscape stamp set for December. This stamp set is perfect for our friends who live in a city environment. All the images remind of NYC and Central Park. When my son lived in NYC, I had the chance to stroll through Central Park and it was amazing. The hustle and bustle of the city really made me miss living closer to a big city.

 

Being from New Jersey, we used to visit the Big Apple during the summers with friends and family. When I got married, my brother-in-law lived in NYC and was a dancer of Alvin Ailey. We would go visit him and see a show. The memories of these times are priceless. My card was kept very clean and simple with a navy, gold and white color palette. I used Hero Arts Nautical cardstock, Hero Arts Gold Glitter Embossing Powder and Tulip puffy paint for the snow.

 

 

To deepen up the navy I did sponge on some Hero Arts Navy ink in a few random spots to intensify the color a little bit. And the puffy paint is perfect for making snow.
