It’s the first day of Autumn and I couldn’t help but share a card using the Hero Arts Autumn Bouquet dies. This Autumn Bouquet couldn’t be more perfect. It’s sooo easy to use and boy does it create beautiful cards.
Creating my card today was super easy. I pulled out my fall colored card stock from Hero Arts in the colors of Chestnut, Pumpkin, Meadow and Mustard to die cut my pieces of my bouquet. For added color and shine, I used my Metallic Inks in Bronze, Green and Gold. What a way to spice up your die cuts.
Keeping my card very clean and simple, I stamped the Knitting Pattern bold print stamp on my pumpkin card stock with embossing ink. I did not using any embossing powder here. This way it looks like a watermark. A simple sentiment from the Extra Messages from the My Monthly Hero September 2020 was stamped on the Chestnut card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
To assemble my card, I placed the bouquet towards the top of the card and my sentiment panel below it. For some added interest, I used my white gelli roll pen to add some faux stitches around the entire card. And of course, a few color coordinated sequins to complete the card.
A side note, I layered the die cuts three times for added dimension. This way the dies look thicker and are more substantial on my card. You could skip this but I would totally recommend that you don’t. I also made sure to use thicker card stock. This way you don’t have to have too many layers to glue together.
