The camps are so exciting and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Classes will be June 24 2022 through June 26, 2022. Two days jammed back with crafting happiness.
Check out what’s included in the class.
There are classes for shaker cards, ink blending with stencils and paper layering. Some of the best instructors will be guiding you through the process. Thanks to Scrapbook & Cards Today for being the sponsor of this event.

Hey everyone. Welcome to the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero for December 2021. You should have arrived here from Channin’s blog. The December My Monthly Hero kit is a reminder that no matter where we live, near or far, in cities or in neighborhoods – through it all we’re here for each other. The kit includes a lively cityscape cling background stamp, a beautiful new cover plate die, and a clear stamp set containing useful messages for welcoming new neighbors, or letting friends and family know you are thinking of them. The images in the clear set have coordinating dies as well. Rounding out the kit is our popular Pitch Black cardstock, ink cubes (perfect for blending a gorgeous sunset) and adorable clothespin embellishments.
• 4″ x 6″ Clear Stamp Set
• 11 Coordinating Frame Cuts
• Fancy Cover Plate Die (4.25″ x 5.5″)
• City Cling Stamp (6″ x 6″)
• 4 Sheets of Black Cardstock (5.5″ x 8.5″)
• 3 Reactive Ink Cubes (Berry Smoothie, Fruit Punch, Lemon Drop)
• 10 Clothespins
For my card, I blended a quick and easy background using Hero Arts Reactive inks. Next I blended on a small amount of black soot distress oxide ink around the boarder of the card for added depth. Next I splattered the panel with water and Hero Arts Iridescent Shimmer Spray. Once that was dried, I stamped the City cling stamp in clear embossing ink and sprinkled it with Hero Arts White embossing powder.
When stamping the sentiment, I used two of the inks I used for the background to have a gradient ink blend for the sentiment and the little doggy.
Below is a tutorial showing how my card came together. You can watch it here or over on my YouTube channel.
Here is a bonus card I made using the new Hero Arts Signpost Stamp and Cut XL. This stamp set is so pretty. I love the hanging signs you can create with it. I kept the card very clean and simple by adding just a bit of sunshine behind the sign and adding grass for the sign to sit in.
The die cut truly fills up a card panel nicely.
Next on the hop is Daniel. Don’t forget Hero Arts will give away a $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, December 12th at 11:59pm Pacific, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week. I’ve also attached the full list of participants in case you get lost along the way.

Hey everyone. I’m joining Waffle Flower as a guest designer for the Waffle Flower Card Challenge this week. The theme for is Halloween. Let’s see your projects and make sure to tag Waffle Flower and use the hashtag of #WFChallenge2109. Now let’s check out the cards I made.
I’m so not a spooky Halloween person so my cards are more on the sweet side. I used the Waffle Flower Treat or Trick stamp set and the Waffle Flower Inky Stripes stencil for my first card. I kept my palette more on the pastel side to make it a non-traditional Halloween card. I colored the images with my Copic markers and fuzzy cut them out. A simple sentiment and a few stamped stars and this card was complete.
My second card is even a little sweeter. I used the Waffle Flower Paint Strokes stencil in the same color palette. This time I added some sparkle gel over the stencil to get my paint strokes to look like they are sugar coated. This was such a fun technique to try with this stencil. Once again I used the Waffle Flower Trick or Treat stamp set to add on the lollipops in coordinating colors and for my sentiment that I fuzzy cut to place in the middle of my card.
Look how beautiful those paint strokes are. They feel like they just could be sugar coated. Now that would be one tasty card. 😂😂😂
I hope you join us this week for the challenge. Don’t forget to post your Waffle Flower Halloween challenge cards on Instagram so we can see them. Make sure to tag Waffle Flower and use the hastag #WFChallenge2109. Thanks for stopping by today and I’ll see you back here soon.
Hey everyone. The Valentine’s Day Card Series 2021 Day 3 is here. And if you love sparkly lips, you are in the right place. I love a great stencil and I love a sparkly lip. The Simon Says Stamp Hot Lips stencil makes my dreams come true.
What’s so awesome about Glitz Glitter Gel is it dries rather quickly and you get a load of sparkle in one product.
Okay let’s check out the tutorial. You can watch it here or on my Youtube channel. All products used are listed below at no cost to you. Let’s get sparkly.
Leave a comment below telling me if you wear sparkly lipstick or not. Have a great day everyone and I’ll see you back here tomorrow.
