Hero Arts Rolling Hills

November 27, 2020

Hey everyone.  Today’ I’m sharing a card made with the Hero Arts Rolling Hills Window Die.  This die is incredible for quick and easy cards. Check out this soft and elegant holiday card.

I paired the Hero Arts Rolling Hills Window die with the Hero Arts Etched Winter Scene Bold Prints stamp. Stamping in image in soft pink ink for my base color then stamping again with embossing ink and sprinkling it with Hero Arts Sparkle Embossing Powder.  Oh MY that embossing powder is amazing with this ink color.

Hero Arts Rolling Hills

After heat setting the embossing powder I die cut the in Dove White cardstock. I layered this piece on top of embossed background with Hero Arts precision glue. For the sentiment I used the Merry Christmas from the Winter Woods Heroscape stamp set.

Hero Arts Rolling Hills

For added interest I added some glitter to the rolling hills of the die cut. Also added some sparkle gems for good measure.

Lastly this panel was adhered to a Soft Pink card panel and placed on a white card base.  I love the softness this card has.  To see move cards made using Hero Arts products click here.  Thanks for stopping by today.  See you back here soon.

Hero Arts Love You Deerly

November 12, 2020

Morning everyone.  Today’ card features the Hero Arts Love you Deerly stamp set along with the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Kit for November. These stamp sets pair so nicely together.

For my card, I colored the adorable deer from the Love You Deerly stamp set with my Copic Markers and die cut it with the coordinating die cuts.  Next I stamped the leaves circle from the My Monthly Hero Kit for this month in Forever Green ink. Keeping the card clean simple, I added a simple sentiment in Cup O’ Joe ink and placed some faux stitching around the focal image. The kit has sold out however you can use the Abstract Linocut to get a similar look.

I love the simplicity of this card. Can you say mass producing this card?

Hero Arts My Monthly Hero November 2020

November 2, 2020

Hey everyone.  Today is the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero November 2020 release day!  Get ready to be inspired by all the fantastic card ideas we have for you. This month’s kit is full of great images that can be used for all your holiday and winter wishes cards.

My Monthly Hero November 2020

For my card today I used the adorable cabin from the kit. I stamped them in multiple colors of Hero Hues Reactive Inks. These cabinets are sooo adorable. Once I had them all stamped out I glued them together by their roof tops.

Hero Arts My Monthly Hero November 2020

Placing the cabinets aside, I worked on my background. Using Mist card stock, I stenciled on some clouds and then added a thick layer of snow using snow paste at the bottom of the card. Now this is a thick coat so I had to let it dry for a few hours.

Hero Arts My Monthly Hero November 2020

After the card panel was completely dried, I popped up the cabinets into the snow using foam dots. Now my card was ready for a simple sentiment. I used the Winter Wishes sentiment for the kit. To complete the card I made a Dove White 5×7 card base and adhered this winter panel using double sided foam tape.

Hero Arts My Monthly Hero November 2020

I think this is the sweetest card ever.  You can completely make this card without the snow paste and just a white snow bank made out of card stock. Here is the link of blog hop participants. Hero Arts will be giving away one $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday November 8th at 11:59 pm PST and a winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week. Next on the list is Daniel.

Morning everyone. I'm on the @heroarts blog today Morning everyone. I'm on the @heroarts blog today sharing two bookmarks I made using products from the new Mix Media release. These bookmarks were so easy to create and I love the colorful style of them.

I truly hope we are inspiring you with our projects using the items from the release. I remember a time I used to be scared to do mix media. Now it's so easy for me to create without fear. Mix media is just using more than one medium on your projects and I've been doing that forever. LOL

Woo hoo the @ginakdesigns May release is now live. Woo hoo the @ginakdesigns May release is now live. I made a card using the Fearless Flyers stamp set along with pretty colors of Gina K. Designs inks.

This card was so easy to pull together with a quick cloud and grass stencil. For added texture, I used Copic markers to add flicks that look like blades of grass. Definately one you could easily mass produce.

Had a chance to play with products I order from @s Had a chance to play with products I order from @simonsaysstamp a few weeks ago. What better way to enjoy the day with rainbow colors on a card.
Easy ink blending with distress oxides and a little bit of heat embossing did the trick.

Today we are here with an installment of our month Today we are here with an installment of our monthly series, CommUNITY, where we share artwork from artists who we'd love for you to get to know. CommUNITY is about embracing and honoring the creativity of individuals who are often underrepresented. By sharing art from a diverse group of creators, we hope to not only bring inspiration to this papercrafting community we all love so much, but also support and empower individuals to be their authentic selves as they create and share. Look for a new CommUNITY guest artist right here on the blog each month

Our CommUNITY guest for this month is the amazing @yupimadethat. Tammy and I have a twin connection as she is the mother of twin boys and I have a twin sister. The challenges are doubled with twin. LOL Head on over to the Hero Arts blog to see her creations and hear her story. She's pretty amazing!

The @simonsaysstamp Yay You release is now life. I The @simonsaysstamp Yay You release is now life. I had the chance to play with the new You Did It waver die. This die is the perfect size for an A2 size card panel. With happy rainbow pattern paper I die cut the sentiment for my card. I used the same paper to keep the rainbow theme working on my card.

Having the paper match really gives my card a cohesive look. Adding a small sub-sentiment and a touch of gold finished off my card nicely. This is the perfect die for our upcoming graduates. Head on over to the Simon Says Stamp store to grab this die cut and other items from the release.
