Hero Arts Summer Catalog 2021

Welcome everyone. Today the Hero Arts Summer Catalog for 2021 has launched. This catalog is full of card inspiration and new products. During the hop you will so the creative team showing how they created their cards using the new supplies. This is just one of my favorite catalogs to date.

For my first card I’m featuring the Hero Arts Color Layering Strawberries. The strawberries really come to life with this layering stamp set. Super easy to line up to really show the details of the image. I stamped my image on cherry card stock with embossing ink to crate my background panel. For the ink colors I used Hero Arts Pale Tomato, Red Royal, Green Hills and Field Greens. To keep the card simple, I used one of the Hero Arts Heart Infinity dies to stamp my sentiment. The card base is the Hero Arts Dove White Side Folding Card.

 

 

 

 

Now my next card is truly a clean and simple card. The Hero Arts Message Strips Stamp and Cut XL. Want clean and simple? This is the way to go. If these colors look familiar to you, they should. They are my blog colors. 😉  Using just one of the sentiments, I stamped the Happy Birthday on Hero Arts Cherry, Mustard and Paradise card stock. I heat embossed it with Hero Arts white embossing powder. With the stamp set you get coordinating sentiment dies. I die cut out each birthday message.

To keep the color palette all about just these three colors, I used the same paper to layer a strip of each side by side on a white dove card base. I adhered the happy birthday sentiment stacked one on top of the other for a clean design.

My card for today, I grabbed a few little fishes and the coral reef to create. Using Copic markers, I colored my images. Loving how this card came out. It’s one of my clean and simple favorites. Are you a fan of clean and simple?

Keeping my colored images are a focal point, no added embellishments were necessary.

 

 

To add just a touch of color around the image, I used Hero Arts Arctic cardstock and adhered it to a side folding card base.

Hero Arts My Monthly Hero May 2021 Countdown

Hey peeps.  If you love underwater sea life you are going to love the May 2021 My Monthly Hero. It’s full of coral reef vibes and tails of cute little fishes.

Living in Florida, beach life is alive and well done here. I love going to the beach to feel the sand between my feet and splash in the ocean. Best parts are the sunsets. So beautiful!!

 

It was therapeutic to color these coral reefs. I used watercolors which is one of my favorite mediums.  And rainbow reefs may not be real but in my heart they are. LOL

For my card today I used the image of the woman reading a book. I think this image is so sweet and it looks like me when I’m nestled into my corner chair deeply invested in a good novel. I always need birthday cards and I love that this kit has a birthday sentiment. Coloring my image with Copic markers and making a little scene was super easy using this image.

 

I kept the card really simple so the image was the main focal point. Using the Woodgrain stencil from Hero Arts I added just a slight bit of texture on my Cherry cardstock. I love the softness it gives the background paper without adding too much of a distraction.
