Hero Arts Together Window Fancy Die

August 24, 2021

Good morning everyone. I’m sharing the Hero Arts Together Window Fancy Die. I loved creating a shaker card with this die. Starting with a piece of Hero Arts Dove White paper, I die cut the Together Window Fancy die. Next I used my Copic markers to color in each hand of the die. Next I stamped several sentiments from the Hero Arts Color My Words stamp set.

Using my Hero Arts Infinity Rectangle dies I trimmed down a piece of Hero Arts Glitter Paper in Fall. I also stamped out the You Are sentiment from the Color Me Word and heat embossed it in Copper embossing powder. I die cut out the sentiment using my Hero Arts Infinity Circles die. I placed the glitter frame on the die cut panel. Next I placed a piece of acetate behind the opening of the Together Window Die to build up my shaker.

Gluing down the circle sentiment to a piece of dove white cardstock, I added some glitter pieces around it and sealed it with the die cut hands piece. To complete the card I die cut out a rectangle from the Colors Of Earth paper pad and placed it on a white card base.

The Together Window Fancy die makes such a pretty shaker card. Adding just a touch of glitter paper really makes the card pop. I did make sure to bring a little more color to the panel with a few brown and bronze sequins to the cover of the card.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to see you back here soon!

Hero Arts Rainbow Infinity Dies

August 19, 2021

Hello everyone. Today I’m sharing a card using the Hero Arts Rainbow Infinity Dies.  These dies work perfectly with the Hero Arts Rainbow Heroscape stamp set. I’m in love with how these dies work. You can use all six dies or just a few. For my card today I used three of the rainbow arches with the new Hero Arts Glitter paper Fall and Holiday packs.

Hero Arts Rainbow Heroscape

Look at the sparkle of this cardstock! OMG 😱 it’s gorgeous!!!  I die cut out three rainbow arches in copper, bronze and gold. For added dimension I die cut each rainbow arch three more times in dove white card stock to stack each glitter arch on top.

Next it was time to work on the background. Using Hero Arts Sand Cardstock, I stamped the Sun Ray Bold Print in embossing Hero Arts Clear Embossing and Watermark ink. I trimmed down this panel to fit on a A2 card base.

To finish off the card I also die cut two clouds from the Hero Arts Rainbow Infinity dies several times in dove white card stock and stamped a sentiment from the Hero Arts Better Together stamp set in Hero Arts Cup O’ Joe ink. I’m rather smitten with this beautiful card. All products are linked below for your shopping ease.  Thanks for stopping by today. See you back here soon.

Hero Arts Holiday Catalog Release Blog Hop

August 18, 2021

(Affiliate links have been used at no cost to you)

Hello everyone and welcome to the Hero Arts Holiday Catalog Release Blog Hop. I’m so excited to share card inspiration using products from this catalog. There are so many new products I’m sure you are going to fall in love with. You should have arrived here from Channin’s blog. Let’s get into the cards I have to share with you.

My first card is featuring the Hero Arts Holly Berries Stamp Set and the Hero Arts Holly Berries Fancy die. I love the simplicity of the lines of this image and the presence of it on a card. It’s large enough to be the star of a card without having to do loads of coloring or adding many details to the card.

For the second card I’m using the Hero Arts Holiday Ornaments and Hero Arts Holiday Ornaments Fancy Dies. These ornaments are absolutely gorgeous. I used Hero Arts Liquid Watercolors for my medium on this card however you can use Copic markers, color pencils or the Hero Arts Layering Ornaments Stencil.

Hero Arts Holiday Ornaments

My last card might just be my favorite. The Hero Arts Geometric Spiral Stencil is awesome! I LOVE a fabulous graphic stamp, die or stencil and this one fits the bill perfectly! Filling in the design with a white gelly roll pen steps up the look just a bit.

Create A Focal Point For Your Cards Tutorial

August 10, 2021

Hey everyone.  I have a quick tutorial for you sharing how to create a focal point for your cards. Sometimes when we make a card, we want one area to shine more than the other. Keeping your panel back and white with just a pop of color helps to achieve this look.

Hero Arts Better Together

Keeping most of the images white it allowed me to draw your eye into the center focal point on the card.

Simple coloring also made the card come together rather quickly.

Here is the tutorial to create a focal point on your card. You can watch it here or over on my Youtube channel mzdanajoy.

I’ve linked all the products below for your shopping ease. I hope you enjoy the video and if you have any questions, please let them in the comment and I’ll be glad to answer them for you.  Have a great day and I’ll see you back here soon.

Morning everyone. It's another day for valentine c Morning everyone. It's another day for valentine cards. In today's tutorial I made a trio of valentine cards from one background. This was so easy and so much fun to make. Where are my Distress Oxide Spray lovers?

With three colors of @tim_holtz Distress Oxide Sprays these cards were created. I don't have all the sprays and are "collecting" them little by little. The fear of using these sprays have been unleashed. 😂😂😂 After watching more and more videos from Tim, my nervousness of "messing it up" has been replaced by "oh that's so pretty".

By using just two die cuts from products from the January 2023 release from @heroarts

The link for the tutorial is in the bio and I hope I inspire you to start creating your Valentine's Day Cards.
