Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Countdown

Hey everyone. Hero Arts’ My Monthly Hero Countdown has begun. This month’s kit is perfect to show the one you love just how much you care. It’s also such a unique kit that speaks to my travel to Paris. My card today is showing you the gorgeous coverplate included in the kit this month. The keyhole is part of the coverplate and it makes such a beautiful card.

 

 

The keyhole allows for you to use a background stamp behind it or you can even make a scene card as if you are looking through the keyhole to something special.

 

Using rich reds, gold and white on my card makes the design of the coverplate stand out. The Love Is Love background stamp to place behind my keyhole is a perfect sentiment to use with this kit.

I can’t wait for you to see what the design team has come up with for this release.

 

Hero Arts Looking Glass Girl With Balloon Die Set

Hey everyone. I’m up on the Hero Arts blog today sharing a card using the Hero Arts Looking Glass Girl With Ballon die set. This easy to use die set is perfect for layered card techniques. The dies create layered cards that are stunningly easy to put together.

 

 

This die set is perfect for those upcoming Valentine’s Day cards. Using a simple color palette and a little bit of sparkle really takes this card up a level.

Hero Arts City Window Fancy Die

Hey everyone. I’m back with one more card for using products from the Hero Arts December 2021 release. Today’s card is featuring the new Hero Arts City Window Fancy die. This might be one of my favorite cards ever.

About a year or more ago I made a bunch of alcohol ink backgrounds that I never got around to putting on a card. The City Window Fancy die was perfect for these inked backgrounds. I die cut the window from Hero Arts Dove White cardstock and placed a piece of the alcohol inked background behind it. Can you say STUNNING?!?!

 

 

For the sentiment I used the one of the sentiments from the Wherever You Go stamp set also from Hero Arts. I used Hero Arts Mulled Wine ink since it was also a perfect match to my alcohol ink background.

 

 

 

The panel was then placed on a A2 card base using Hero Arts Dove White cardstock. This card was so quick and easy to put together.

Hero Arts A Warm Welcome Die Set

Hey everyone. I’m back with another card from the Hero Arts December 2021 release. For my card I used A Warm Welcome die set. This die makes the most adorable little houses. Pairing this with the new Hero Arts City Park Heroscape and you have a cute and simple card.

 

 

 

 

I used the following ink colors from Hero Arts to create my little houses: Red Royal, Just Rust, Butterbar, Moss, Pool, Soft Purple and Mulled Wine. Once I die cut the little houses, I made a 4.50 x 4.50 card base from Hero Arts Dove White card stock to create a sun burst. I then die cut two hills from the City Park Heroscape kit in Hero Arts Meadow cardstock, sponged on some left over green ink from a blending brush and heat embossed a sentiment in white embossing powder.

 

 

Adhering my houses down first onto the card base using Hero Arts Precision glue, I popped up the hills up in front of them. Super easy card to mass produce.

Hero Arts City Park Heroscape

Morning everyone. I have a card today using the new Hero Arts City Park Heroscape stamp set for December. This stamp set is perfect for our friends who live in a city environment. All the images remind of NYC and Central Park. When my son lived in NYC, I had the chance to stroll through Central Park and it was amazing. The hustle and bustle of the city really made me miss living closer to a big city.

 

Being from New Jersey, we used to visit the Big Apple during the summers with friends and family. When I got married, my brother-in-law lived in NYC and was a dancer of Alvin Ailey. We would go visit him and see a show. The memories of these times are priceless. My card was kept very clean and simple with a navy, gold and white color palette. I used Hero Arts Nautical cardstock, Hero Arts Gold Glitter Embossing Powder and Tulip puffy paint for the snow.

 

 

To deepen up the navy I did sponge on some Hero Arts Navy ink in a few random spots to intensify the color a little bit. And the puffy paint is perfect for making snow.
