Simon Say Stamp Make Merry Release

October 10, 2020

Good morning everyone.  I’m so excited to celebrating the Simon Says Stamp Make Merry release.  There are awesome new products available today for your holiday card making. Let’s get started.

Simon Says Stamp Make Merry

My projects today feature several new products and I had so much fun making fabulous cards to share with friends and family. I have three to share with you today and they are all super easy to create.

I know you are with me when you want cute tags for your holiday gifts. This adorable tag using the Deco Hat Gnome makes it easy. There are three dies included in this set and the color combinations and designs will be amazing. The background of my tag I used the Fallen Leaves stencil. This stencil has four individual stencils that allow you to use them together or separately.

Simon Says Stamp Make Merry

My second card features the adorable Feline Like Christmas stamp set. It was so easy to make a quick spinner card using this set. The kitties in the stamp set have front and back images so spinner cards or inside out cards are easy to complete.

Simon Says Stamp Make Merry Release

My last card was the easiest to create. I used the beautiful watercolor panels by Suzy’s Watercolor Prints. The fabulous design of these panels are beautiful to watercolor and make super easy cards.

Simon Says Stamp Make Merry

Now it’s time to hop around and see all the awesome inspiration using products from the Simon Says Stamp Make Merry release.

For my card today I pulled out all my happy yellow inks. I used Citrus Burst, Fresh Lemon, Maple Yellow and Honey Drizzle from Altenew. My go to green inks for leaves is Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades and Evergreen also from Altenew. I totally think this rose would look beautiful without all the layers.

Altenew Craft A Flower Rose

I also die cut out the pieces two more times just in white paper and placed them on the corners of my panel keeping the yellow rose as my focal point. Love the simplicity of this card.  The sentiment for the card is from Sincere Greetings from Altenew.

Altenew Cozy Creatures Stamps/Dies/Stencils Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

October 5, 2020

Hey everyone.  Welcome to the Altenew Cozy Creatures Stamps/Dies/Stencils Collection release blog hop!  Whew that was a mouth full.  LOL  You should of arrived here from Theresa’s blog.

Altenew oozy Creatures blog Hop

For my card today I used the Forever Friends stamp set.  This stamp set was right up my alley as I’m a complete coffee junkie. I colored the images to resemble Starbucks and DND cups. Stamping on the cups with the hearts gave me a place for some sparkle using a wink of stella. I also filled the hearts in with crystal glaze.

Altenew Forever Friends

This sentiment from the set is PERFECT for my coffee loving friends! Well I guess it can also be wine in the cusps.  You never know.  LOL

Here’s a closeup of my card.  I absolutely LOVE the way it came out and will be making more of them in the future.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Peony Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

October 1, 2020

Hey everyone.   Today is the Altenew Build-A-Flower Peony release blog hop.  I’m so excited to be sharing this amazing stamp set with you today. You should of arrived here from Natalie’s blog.

Build-A-Flower Peony

For my first card today I used Pale Mauve, Amethyst and Grape Agate, Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades inks from Altenew. After I stamped the image I filled in the white background with my BV29 Copic marker. I love the striking dark contrast between the flowers and the background.

Stamping a simple thanks a bunch sentiment and adding a few gold gems on, this card was complete. I think this card is probably my favorite that I have made with this stamp set.

Build-A-Flower-Peony

Build-A-Flower Peony

My second card I keep the card light and bright. The peony was stamped in Butternut, Yellow Ochre and Sicilian Amber, Frayed Leaf and Forest Glade inks.

Pulling out my Copic makers again, I colored the bottom half of the car with my BG32 marker. Once I had complete coverage, I stamped a sentiment in Sicilian Amber ink. To keep the color combo going, I used that same maker and YR24 to make little small dots along the top portion of the card.

My Monthly Hero Kit

For my card today, my main focal point is the My Monthly Hero card kit. The layering stamps in this set are perfect. You can create a beautiful pumpkin patch with use three stamps. Also you can create a corn field in the background of your pumpkin patch. I used moss, grape juice, pumpkin pie, just rust and soft sky inks for my card. The My Monthly Hero Kit September 2020 is one you will fall in love with.

Afternoon friends. I'm back with a card layering u Afternoon friends. I'm back with a card layering up my @heroarts bold prints. I love the look for texture on cards and by using two great bold prints, I created this beauty. A good tip to layering your bold prints, keep it simple! If your bold prints are too busy, layering them will be difficult.

For my card I used the Hero Arts Ginkgo Leaves and Positive Script bold prints. The script bold print is small enough that it doesn't overpower the leaves. And you don't have to be perfect with the script either as you are just giving the look for words not something that needs to be readable. Perfect match in cardmaking heaven.

You can find all the products I used on the blog today including this beautiful sentiment you see on my card. (it's one that speaks to my heart). Link is in the bio. Have a wonderful day everyone.
