Altenew + The Daily Marker Watercolor Therapy Blog Hop & Giveaway

For my card today I used the Build-A-Flower Hawaiian Coral and the Altenew Woodless Watercolor Pencils. This stamp set is a layering stamp set however I choose to use just the outline image to color with my pencils.

After I watercolored this flower, I paired it with a striped background using a stencil from Altenew and pink ink also from Altenew. Placing this on a black backer card stock and onto a white card base.

I kept the embellishments simple and used Nuvo drops in a light pink and green.

My card is clean and simple using my poppy as my focal point. The beautiful poppy on a clean white background with just a simple sentiment is the perfect card to mass produce.

I added just a touch of shimmer pen to the flower because well all flowers should shimmer.

For my cards today I kept the color palette simple and used it on all my cards. My first card features the Sparkled stamp set along with the Better Together Stamp set. The clean simplicity of this card was easy to create.

My second card is featuring the Pen Sketched Silhouette stamp set. Again keeping the card clean and simple with a pretty stenciled background.

And for my last card I use the Sparkled stamp set again using all the layers to this stamp. I love the details of a great laying stamp.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Hawaiian Coral Release Blog Hop

Hey everyone. Today is the Altenew Build-A- Flower Hawaiian Coral release blog hop. I’m so excited to be sharing this amazing stamp set with you today. You should have arrived here from Svitlana’s blog.

The beautiful Altenew Build-A-Flower Hawaiian Coral stamp set is stunning!! Big bold floral that will pop off your next card. Using an assortment of Altenew inks, I stamped my image onto white card stock. To give it a graphic feel, I used a yellow Copic maker to color around the flower on a diagonal line. This really enhances the flower.

After I had the coloring done, I stamped one of the sentiments along the diagonal line! This is a perfect way to add a sentiment that won’t interfere with your floral image.

For added interest I decided to run this panel through my die cutting machine with a stitched border die. I layered this to a kraft card panel and then to a white card base. Just a few sequins and my card was complete.

Holiday Card Series 2020 Day 4

Hey everyone. It’s Holiday Card Series 2020 Day 4. Who needs at least one masculine holiday card? I know I do and Altenew is making it easy for us. A beautiful background stamp, copper embossing powder and a bold sentiment and you have an amazing card.
