Welcome back to the blog for the Poshta Design Cobweb Coverall Die. The Cobweb Coverall Die cuts a spider web background sized for an A2 card front (the die doesn’t have an outer cutting edge though, so you have some flexibility if you would like to try other card sizes or techniques). This classic Halloween pattern adds texture and interest to your cards, making even the simplest creation feel spook-tacular!
The Cobweb Coverall Die includes a Stitching Guide for handy reference. Measurement reference:
The patterned area measures 4” wide by 5 ¼” tall.
Retails for $24 (1 piece)
Costume Party Color Story (retails for $55)
I know there are a lot of people who truly enjoy Halloween. For me it’s just okay. LOL What I love most about the day is giving out candy to the sweet kids and checking out their costumes. Let’s just say I prefer a fun halloween over a spooky one. So this Cobweb Coverall die was perfect for a not so scary halloween card.

I started off by diecutting the cobweb using the Costume Party Color Story. This pack has five great felt rolls along with matching DMC floss and a container full of sparkle with beads and sequin. So much fun to add the beads and sequin to your projects.

By stitching the cobweb in black I was able to achieve a very high contrast card. And by adding in just a few of the beads and sequins the cards is more glam than scary. Once my stitching was done, I trimmed it out in a fun shape and placed it onto a black card base.

The sentiment for the card was computer generated and die cut out with a circle die. I truly enjoyed playing with the Poshta Design Cobwebb Coverall die. There are a few more dies being released today as well.
Okay we have one more day for sneak peeks before release on Saturday, August 23 at NOON EST. See you back here tomorrow.
I was hoping for a spider web! Love your card!
Love your pairing of felt and card making to make an awesome card with lots of texture for Halloween!!!
