Welcome Altenew NEW Year-End Celebration Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes). You should have arrived here from Tenia. Today’s release is all about celebrations. Let’s take a peek at the card I made.
I decided that a dramatic card was necessary to kick off this celebration. The products I used for this card are the Lovely Daisies die set and the Mega Stamp Frame die set. These two dies set work so beautifully together. I used Concord & 9th Grapefruit, Sorbet, Buttercup, Stardust, Parsley and Evergreen cardstock for the flower. And the sentiment was made with C&9 Grapefruit card stock. The black cardstock is Hero Arts Pitch Black.
Pairing these two products together on a black card base really makes the card pop. For the background, I used my score board to add some texture to my card with vertical lines. This is such an easy way to make a simple card base stand out.
You could also use an embossing folder with a clean design that doesn’t overpower the flower as well for texture.
Now let’s talk about giveaways. To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $25 gift certificate to 8 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 12/23/2021 for a chance to win.
