Hey everyone. It’s the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero September 2021 release. You should have arrived here from Channin’s blog. Oh if you are a sunflower lover like me you are going to love the kit for this month. The September My Monthly Hero release celebrates the pleasures associated with the arrival of autumn. From cool, crisp days with blowing leaves, to wonderful fall blooms and pumpkins galore, this release will get you in the mood for the changing season. Our main kit features a big, beautiful sunflower image, which can easily be colored with the layering stencils, inks and brush also included. Two useful message dies in a lovely font round out the kit.
Kit includes:
• 4″ x 6″ Clear Stamp Set
• Coordinating Frame Cut
• 2 Fancy Word Die
• 5 Color Layering Stencil
• 1 Ink Blending Brus
• 4 Ink Cubes (Butter Bar, Caramel, Root Beer, Key Lime Fizz)
I have a tutorial for the first card I made using this month’s kit. This kit is so much fun to use and it makes such strikingly beautiful cards. You can’t get much fall than this easy card.
You can watch the tutorial here on my page or you can view it on my Youtube channel.
I’m also sharing a card using one of the add-on stamp sets for this month called Hero Halloween Greetings. Keeping the design simple, I used the small stamps in this set to create a circle panel full of candy pieces with a sweet sentiment. For the background of my card, I trimmed down piece of colorful card stock and adhered it t a green card base. The background was kept simple so it wouldn’t compete with the candy panel.
I love the stripes on the background so much I plan on making this card again using a different color palette.
All products I used on these two cards are listed below for your shopping pleasure. Please make sure to leave me some love so you can be entered into the giveaway. Hero Arts will give away one $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, September 12th at 11:59pm Pacific, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.
Next on the hop is Daniel. Have a great day everyone and I’ll see you back here soon.

Great card Dana, I love yesterday’s too — and I subscribed to your Youtube channel, which I somehow didn’t know existed(!) I must have been under a rock or something since I’ve subscribed to your blog for awhile now…. But then, I did just get new glasses because I literally flunked my last eye exam… 🙂
