Hey everyone. I have a quick card to share using the Hero Arts Mushroom Forest Fancy Die. It’s one of the coolest dies I now have in my stash. This die is perfect as the star of your card. Let’s take a look at it.
To start this card I die cut it out of Hero Arts Dove White cardstock. Using different colors of Copic markers I colored the entire panel. Making the bottom portion of the card look like grass blades and the top part to look like greenery. The die cuts out the mushrooms so all I have to do is color them as well. Using a white gelli roll pen I added the dots to the mushrooms and made the little flowers. Once the coloring was complete, I set the panel aside to work on the background.
Since the die cuts an opening in the middle it’s a perfect spot to add in some clouds and sky. I sponged on Hero Arts Dusty Blue ink across the panel leaving space for clouds. I added just a touch of Hero Arts Butterbar ink to add in some sun.
For the sentiment, I reached for the Hero Arts Meadow Heroscape stamp set. The sentiment was stamped in Hero Arts Intense Black ink. Now on to the butterflies. I stamped them once in Butterbar ink and a second time with a little bit of Soft Apricot rolled around the edges. I die cut them out with the coordinating dies. The butterflies are also from the Meadow Heroscape.
Now it was time to assemble the card. I trimmed down the die cut panel to be a 1/4 inch smaller so I could add it to a Hero Arts Top Folded Card base. Before adhering it to the card base, I placed the sponged background behind the panel using Hero Arts Precision Glue. I popped up my butterflies for dimension. I really love how this card came out. It’s just so cute! I’ve listed all the products below for your shopping trip.
Make sure to grab your Hero Arts Mushroom Forest Fancy die for your next card. Have a great day everyone and I’ll see you back here soon.
