Altenew Build-A-Flower: Bellaroma Hybrid Tea Rose Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

February 1, 2021

Hey everyone. Today it’s the Altenew Build-A-Flower Bellaroma Hybrid Tea Rose release. Oh and did I mention it’s a blog hop and a giveaway? Well of course there is. You should have arrived here from Virginia’s blog. For a list of all participants you can head on over to the Altenew blog or see my links below.

Enjoy new beginnings with these gorgeous, distinctive florals. This set has one flower with four layers and a cluster of three leaves with three layers. What makes this stamp special is that the layers are created in such a way that they can be used to give contrasting colors to the flower, or you can choose to layer them with shades of the same color. Use your imagination as you try out different ink color combinations with the Bellaroma Hybrid Tea Rose.

The Build-A-Flower: Bellaroma Hybrid Tea Rose special edition stamp and die set is only sold as a bundle. It includes one 6″ x 8″ clear photopolymer stamp set (19 individual stamp images) and one coordinating die set (2 dies).

The Bellaroma Hybrid Tea Rose is the perfect floral image to watercolor, stamp and layer or just heat emboss. I kept my card very simple and with high contrast. Heat embossing the rose and leaves with gold embossing powder on white card stock gave me a great starting point. Next I colored one of the roses with the just the first layer stamp. No additional layers were added.

Bellaroma Tea Rose

Using a black card base with gold watercolor splatter allowed my flowers to really stand out.  A simple sentiment finished off my card.
