Gina K Designs and Pear Blossom Press Collaboration

November 4, 2020

Welcome to the Let’s Glow hop with Gina K Designs and Pear Blossom Press! We’re sharing beautiful cards with a double-wow factor; they feature the beautiful stamps and dies you can only find from Gina K, and they all light up! (Don’t worry, that part is easy with the help of Pear Blossom Press’ EZ-Lights.) Be sure to hop along with us for lots of inspiration; our designers have come up with some gorgeous cards…

Using the Gina K Designs Holiday Trees stamp set I lined a card panel with one of the trees from the stamp set in Gina K. Designs Grass Green ink. I was careful to mask off each tree so there was no overlap of cover. Once I had the trees stamped, I colored in the sky using my BG0000 and BG000 Copic maker.

Gina K Designs Pear Blossom Press

Carefully freehanding a snow bank with my scissors I place it under the trees and stamped the Merry Christmas and press me in Gina K. Designs Lipstick ink. The press me sentiment is from Heffy Doodle Interactively Yours stamp set. Adding just a touch of glitter along the snow bank makes my card sparkle.

Now it was time to assemble my card. Pulling out a small circle punch I punched out a few of the small circles on the trees. Behind those hole I placed a piece of vellum and attached my Easy Lights. I placed the battery pack under the press me and adhered it with double sided tape. I layered this panel with foam tape and placed it on a card panel that was lined with red card stock.

Adding just a few gems to the tree and my card was complete.  This card was sooo easy to put together and the addition of the lights makes it just perfect. Here is a video from Pear Blossom Press showing how to us their EZ Lights.

Super sweet card! I have to laugh in that I used 2 packs of EZ lights in a “special” card, much like this where all the trees should shine. Nope. These lights are so terrific I could have landed a plane with that card. The recipient said, oh good I’ll save one battery until the other one stops, uhmmm 1st battery is still working 1 year later. Tee hee. Pretty trees! My friend lites the trees every night for prayer time.

Morning everyone. It's another day for valentine c Morning everyone. It's another day for valentine cards. In today's tutorial I made a trio of valentine cards from one background. This was so easy and so much fun to make. Where are my Distress Oxide Spray lovers?

With three colors of @tim_holtz Distress Oxide Sprays these cards were created. I don't have all the sprays and are "collecting" them little by little. The fear of using these sprays have been unleashed. 😂😂😂 After watching more and more videos from Tim, my nervousness of "messing it up" has been replaced by "oh that's so pretty".

By using just two die cuts from products from the January 2023 release from @heroarts

The link for the tutorial is in the bio and I hope I inspire you to start creating your Valentine's Day Cards.
