Hey everyone. Today is the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero November 2020 release day! Get ready to be inspired by all the fantastic card ideas we have for you. This month’s kit is full of great images that can be used for all your holiday and winter wishes cards.
For my card today I used the adorable cabin from the kit. I stamped them in multiple colors of Hero Hues Reactive Inks. These cabinets are sooo adorable. Once I had them all stamped out I glued them together by their roof tops.
Placing the cabinets aside, I worked on my background. Using Mist card stock, I stenciled on some clouds and then added a thick layer of snow using snow paste at the bottom of the card. Now this is a thick coat so I had to let it dry for a few hours.
After the card panel was completely dried, I popped up the cabinets into the snow using foam dots. Now my card was ready for a simple sentiment. I used the Winter Wishes sentiment for the kit. To complete the card I made a Dove White 5×7 card base and adhered this winter panel using double sided foam tape.
I think this is the sweetest card ever. You can completely make this card without the snow paste and just a white snow bank made out of card stock. Here is the link of blog hop participants. Hero Arts will be giving away one $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday November 8th at 11:59 pm PST and a winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week. Next on the list is Daniel.

Love that you used rainbow colors for the cabins for a non-traditional winter card! I thought it was a beach card because I would prefer to be a a warm beach this winter.

Gorgeous card! Such a wonderful kit for the holidays…
Thanks for sharing.
Fun card!! I can see changing the color of the ‘snow’ to a light tan to make it ‘sand’. A perfect winter scene in Florida. lol I couldn’t wait to buy this kit. lol It’s on its way.
I loved the dimension the snow gave the card. Great colors.
Thank you for making this card—I have been trying to come up with ideas about snow on cards. I’m relatively new to card making and didn’t know about Snow Paste. Does it stay on the card? Does it flake? Very cute and colorful card–love using differnent/non-traditional color schemes!
Janelle it stays on the card. It ends up almost feeling like plaster. It’s pretty cool stuff.
Love your card! It reminds me of the adorable little beach huts you see on the beaches in parts of England.
Really like the card idea, especially the snow effect!
Love the colors on the row houses…very nice!
If you added sand and water these could be cute little beach houses.

Christmas is hot and sunny where I live. The cabins looked like beach huts. Cut off the chimney and substitute sand for snow and it would be perfect !
