Hey everyone. Today is the Altenew Build-A-Flower Peony release blog hop. I’m so excited to be sharing this amazing stamp set with you today. You should of arrived here from Natalie’s blog.
For my first card today I used Pale Mauve, Amethyst and Grape Agate, Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades inks from Altenew. After I stamped the image I filled in the white background with my BV29 Copic marker. I love the striking dark contrast between the flowers and the background.
Stamping a simple thanks a bunch sentiment and adding a few gold gems on, this card was complete. I think this card is probably my favorite that I have made with this stamp set.
My second card I keep the card light and bright. The peony was stamped in Butternut, Yellow Ochre and Sicilian Amber, Frayed Leaf and Forest Glade inks.
Pulling out my Copic makers again, I colored the bottom half of the car with my BG32 marker. Once I had complete coverage, I stamped a sentiment in Sicilian Amber ink. To keep the color combo going, I used that same maker and YR24 to make little small dots along the top portion of the card.
