Altenew Build-A-Flower: Clover Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

September 1, 2020

Hey everyone.   Today is the Altenew Build-A-Flower Clover Layering Stamp release blog hop.  I’m so excited to be sharing this amazing stamp set with you today. You should of arrived here from Nicole’s blog.

For my card today I pulled out all my pretty pink inks from Altenew to use this layered Clover stamp set. The back of the packaging you will see great ink color combinations so you don’t need to guess what inks you can use to make a gorgeous image.  I used Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Rubellite and Razzleberry.  For my stems I used Bamboo, Olive and Moss inks.

Build-A-Flower Clover Release Blog Hop

I think this floral image would also look great if you only stamped the base color and then added detail with color pencils to create your top layers.  Also shades of purple on this flower would also be stunning.  Remember, it’s your creation. Make your flowers any color you want. 😉

For the background of my card, I pulled out my favorite grid stencil from Altenew and used the Pink Diamond ink. This helped to keep the background very subtle. Back ink was used for the sentiment on my card.  To finish off my card I layered this panel onto light gray card stock and place this panel on a white card base.  With the additional of silver confetti my card was complete.

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog by 9/7/2020 for a chance to win. We’ll also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew Winners Page on 09/09/2020.

We also have some savings for you today. Get 15% off ALL Crisp Dye Inks & Pigment Inks including oval ink pads and mini cubes from 9/1/2020 at 12:01 AM EST until 9/2/2020 at 11:59 PM EST. Shop HERE>>ALTENEW INK COLLECTIONS. Excludes mixed media inks and re-inkers. Not valid on previous purchases.

Dana, I really like this card. I am a newbie and I love looking at the simple details that make a card stand out. The square back ground is so cool. Mixed with the circle gems and the color of the flowers, really go well together. I would have never thought to mix shapes. You make it subtle but it makes the flowers pop. Thank you.
