Hey everyone. I’m super excited to be sharing the Hero Arts Kids United stamp set from the Unity Collection. This stamp set is all about the kids. It was an inspiration from Pocono Pam and I to make sure kids were a feature of this collection. Kids are our future leaders so we much show them love as well.
This stamp set as well as the Power To The People set and the Hands Of Hope die cut are now available on the Hero Arts website. I am honored to bring you this collection with Hero Arts and Pocono Pam. There are several images in this stamp set and I’ll share two here with you today. Make sure to come back and visit to see the other image and a cards using the Power To The People stamp set and Hands Of Hopes die cut next week.
Here is a quick tutorial with a little message about the stamp set and why we made it. Also the links to everyone on the hop.

The hugging boys remind me exactly of an experience about 26 years ago. We were camping in Yosemite, and were at the river. Our 2 year old son (WHITE BLOND HAIR, WHITE SKIN!!!) and a very black 2 year old boy were standing next to each other, hadn’t even said a word to each other, and gave each other a HUGE heartfelt hug. For no reason. Each family took a photo–it was a long, sweet hug. And then they stopped hugging, and just went back to playing. No words. Just a hug. This country is not a simmering stew of racism. We are just being force fed the idea that it is. I have neighbors of all colors, from many countries around the world, but mostly Hispanic. We get along great. We invite each other over for parties, we watch each other’s houses, we act like neighbors and friends. I guess if a person has a chip on his/her shoulder, it might seem like people who don’t look like them don’t like them, think that they are “less than”, etc. Not that bad things don’t happen (my grandpa was murdered by a black gang who decided they would kill the first white man they saw…) but in my experience, racism is not prevalent. ANYWAY, this image of the boys is very sweet, and brings back fond memories of a less turbulent time!!!!
