Hey everyone. I’m your host for today and I’m sharing a card for the Pink & Main/Thermoweb Collaboration. This is the perfect time of the year to pull products from different companies and pair them together to make beautiful holiday cards. In my tutorial you will be how simple it is to create amazing cards with very little sweat and tears. The Pink & Main and Therm-O-Web collaboration has so much inspiration to share.
For my card I pulled out all the pretty that I could find in my craft room. I love the simplicity of this card but also all the sparkle it shows. Just a few steps to this card and you something so pretty.
Let’s get into the tutorial. Remember, I have listed all the products below for your shopping convenience.
And of course I have a bonus card for you today. Since I live in Florida I just had to make a card using Pink and Main’s Deck The Palms stamp set. This is usually what Christmas looks like for us Floridians. LOL I know I’m rubbing it in just a little to my cold weather friends. 😉 For my card today I used purple tape from Thermoweb to tape off my card so I could create the sand and the water. I used Distress oxide inks in tea tea dye, tumbled glass and mermaid lagoon. To create the waves, I used my white gelly roll pen.
I did simple Copic colors on the images and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. Next I stamped my sentiment onto the sand and water panel with black ink. To pop up my palm tress I used cut out strips adhesive foam from Thermoweb. I love that double sided foam.
Of course I needed to add just a touch of sparkle. I pulled out some flat back sequins and adhered them to the card panel with ultra bond adhesive from Therm O Web.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Make sure to visit again tomorrow for another fabulous guest designer.
Such great cards. The first one is so elegant with your beautiful background. Your bonus card makes me want to go back to Cuba for some warmth. (I say this as I look out the window and watch the snow gently falling…although it is beautiful,it’s cold. I don’t like COLD! LOL)
Awesome cards as always Dana, I am inspired to go get my cards finished up and ready to mail.
TFS!
Love the pretty wreath card. The palm tree one is hilarious and fitting for those of us in So Cal most of the time.
A beautiful silver background and useful tips to save the gell. That red glitter paper if very pretty. Elegant! I’m in Florida so I can really appreciate your bonus card. Ha!
I love all the sparkle on your beautiful wreath card! Your Deck the Palms card is adorable! Pretty coloring on the fun image! Love your tropical scene!
Dana, I love both cards. Pink n Main sets are so stinking cute. I have the bonus card set for my cards this year but looking like I need to start mine in Jan for next Christmas. Beautiful cards. Have enjoyed this card series.
The tropical Christmas is right up my alley, love the fun sentiment on this card. Such an elegant palette on the first card.
Another great batch of cards, Joy!
